Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Next door neighbor came ans asked if the truck that is bringing his boat container full of his shed bits and pieces if they can use our driveway tomorrow. Then George asked him to take the timber left over from the house building that we had saved for him, no mention of the fence yet. Guess nothing will be done until there is no more need to use out driveway. Put an old wardrobe under the sheds roof and put all the gardening stuff like seasol sprays on the top shelf and the nastier stuff lower down. Washed all the garden tools and tomorrow they will get a good cleaning and oiling etc. Miss Rosy is going home tomorrow, she has been a good girl but Brian will be pleased to see her go. Boys on bikes have finished for a few days then onto the next . Off to bed soon so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Pet-els x :D Take care

Know how you're feeling Dot. That was us last night too . The bowl that sold was a coral bowl made from blue and green transparent glass. xxxx

Yesterday, we had ok sales, so not complaining. We then packed up the stall and went back to the van and just slept. Today we woke to find a lovely sunny day. We packed up the van and traveled the 100 klms to Armidale showgrounds. We have settled in well and will be staying here for at least a week. As usual, we did have a slight detour to Guyra for their pies. A delicious cheese, bacon n beef pie was had for dinner. yummo.

A load of washing was done and a few groceries have been bought, but basically, we are here to just chill, until we set up our stall again on Friday ready for weekend sales. We will do an op shop run tomorrow, maybe and just be tourists for the rest of our relaxing time.

Big problem Bernie, the exodus of Sydney sidders moving to our area, it use to be a quite village like excistence becoming suburban, to many people, not enough infrastructure & a council that is broke after being amalgamated, don't even know how our school will cope. Big new subdivision going in at Cragan Bay on the road into Summo.

Dot, I would be keeping a little list of all the things that man has had to use your driveway to have delivered. When he asks for fence money, let him know that a bigger discount would help or he could be asked for a thousand dollar delivery access fee, xxxx

Shirley, you are so right. The city is getting way too close to us now Without the new schools and hospitals, there should be no more houses built.

We had a stay at the van day . Had a lovely sleep on and a wander around the showgrounds but not much else. Was good to just do nothing.

I was doing nothing yesterday, but I didn’t finish, so I’ll be finishing doing nothing again today. 😁

Hi Dot xxxx

Ray, we had another day like that again today, sort of.

We are wanting ti replace the foam in the lounge/diner cushions and had found the ideal sounding place in town. We finally found that the business doesn't exist now, but a kind gent has recommended a place in Tamworth. So that may be a reason to stop in town at Tamworth next week.

Op shops had very little of interest and the town is very quiet. We had a longer walk around the showgrounds and did some perving on many different styles of camping. Several buses, whizz bangs and fifth wheelers as well as the usual mix of caravans and tents.

We have had some rain so tomorrow G will be spraying all around the gardens with that supposedly soil improver because at the mo the water just doesn't get into the soil, even though I have laid pea straw all around the place. Off to see Physio, back to MT Barker Buntings to check out shade cloth to replace the stuff over the birds cage, then to air con place got a new filter $45 and arranged for a person to come out to give a $ on a new system, this one we have is 24yrs old s Mitsubishi will be used again, it has not missed a beat all this time. Then to pick up some aluminium G had ordered and finally to spotlight for some curtain stuff, with that it was time to get home knackered. Oh whilst in Buntings I had to get another Hoya   My postal voting papers arrived today. but to whom do I give my vote to???? Next door was a hive of activity at 8am, trucks, little grader things, 6 men with shovels and rakes marking out the base for the concrete pour ? tomorrow. Relax a bit Deborah, there are some unusual camping set ups out there but not for this old chook. G went to see how the guy was going with his work on the bus, he has been very busy but said the "booster" thing was all AOK and he will be checking the injectors (hope they are OK as well) they are $$$$Off to bed now so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Chuck x :D Hope you are feeling better , do as you have been told

Wow Dot, you are such a busy person, makes me tired just reading about your adventures xxxx

Today we did a few small things around the van and then went to the RSL for lunch. Yummo spag marina. I think the description of seafood marinara was a bit OTT . I seem to remember that marinara means seafood, so the meu really read seafood seafood.

Thoughts for the day

Nothing done today apart from helping G,man put the new filter for the air con back up. I got to hold the torch while he screwed the screws back, exhausting that was. Had a chat with Jamie (Jamglor) in WA this arvo he and Glori are doing fine. Posted our voting forms in so we have done out duty, both had differing votes. 8-) Brian off to the vets tomorrow, wonder if we will have to be seen out in the car park as they have been doing, bloody stupid, even Dr's see you in their rooms, imagine if they did consults out in car parks esp for breast exam, pap test, hemorrhoids, Peyronie's would you get booked for indecent exposure if a copper saw this filth going on :?:  Weeds to spray tomorrow um today.. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bernie x :D
