Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
We have 2 nights in Adelaide as far as I know up to date, the Mannum bit looks like it will be the usual herding, minus sheep/cattle dogs.BruceS wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 4:31 pm All I can say is "good luck & just do it!""
We all run into THAT fence in due course I guess?
As for the get together I reckon "just try & stop us!"
Over to the planning dept!
Do you already have definitive days for the SA trip?
Are you sure you'll have spare days not allocated for the guided itinerary?
I'll get more info closer to the travel dates.
The first night in Adelaide will be the 27/03/2023 check-in and check-out on the 29/03
Mannum 31/03, but there's no stay space in that unless I can arrange something.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Busy as usual Dot and Happy Birthday George. xxxx
Had no internet last night and very super slow tonight. Don't know why, but it's been a PITA.
Had a busy day here today. Finally the paperwork for Lightning Ridge Opal Festival arrived in the email account. Had that all sorted, filled in and copy made for my file in very few minutes. Organised the caravan park at the Ridge for that week and finally feel like we are getting back to some sort of normal.
Last weekend I was asked to make some more black and white plates. The lady is going to be at our next sale in a fortnight, so all systems were a go go today. The first bowl had it's fusing firing last night and tonight, it's getting made into a bowl shape. Looked pretty good this morning, so happy with that. Another plate with variegated black and white strips is already for firing and sitting on my bench. I have a couple more ideas for black and white themed plates, so that will be the plan for this week. Going to the fang farriers tomorrow, so had to have the plate ready before we leave home tomorrow.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Home safely after a 600km drive
(alternating drivers).
Car is unpacked, but some stuff still to be put away.
Both stuffed by combination of long drive & Covid symptoms.
Snags on bread for dinner. All either of us could muster strength to prepare.
Off to bed. G'nite (or afternoon) all.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, was the thugby worth watching this weekend? xxxx
Ray, take care of yourself and follow all directions given from the mistress of war and finances.....
Had the dental work dealt with today and the followed the event with a grocery run. That took most of the day. I managed to get some shed time in. So the next stripey piece is getting warmed up for it's first fuse tonight. Last night's bowl looks pretty good, so all is good. I did lots of cutting for the next bowl shape. Annoyingly, 1cm slices of plain black glass are difficult to cut. So had a lot of wonky cuts and "wastage" pieces that couldn't be used in this plate. I have another project in mind for them, so wont be totally wasted. More cutting for this project tomorrow.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Ray do you know where you got the bug? do you have to notify anyone for close contacts?? The mechanic supposedly doing our bus is also positive so no bus work going on. Gates of his yard closed but no notices on gate. Got the washing in and some bugger bird had pooped on it, back to be washed. G has used the magic glue stuff to fix the mulch's fuel tank now just has to put it back together and test run. Still no sign of any concreting being done next door. Had a drone buzzing around today next time I will moon it that will crash it for sure
Hey Pet-els are you feeling better now? Seeing as we didn't have a crop of any fruit this year, do you think the trees should be pruned this year? Looking forward to seeing more of those platters Deborah, was the fang farrier kind to you? G goes again for a filling, waste of $$ just get the things out and be done with it, just like a used womb, get it out asap
Bobr wasn't the V8's good over the weekend?
Boys on bikes are now back, but nee to get that net ot stan thing to watch all the races.Take care everyone and goodnight x
Goodnight Annette n Darryl xx

Hi all,
Yes Dot slowly getting over it. Taste and smell returning, still got chest congestion and a few aches. See a Dr today [first appointment I could get] but sleeping OK again.
Raining again up here at Cxsino Village.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
We’ve notified the friend in Nambucca Heads we were staying with.
Her 96yo mother who lives with her went to bed at 1630 yesterday with ‘a cold’!
We urged her to get mum to a Dr urgently, which she will do today.
Son-&-Heir advised us that the new Omicron v2.0 is far easier to catch than v1.0, so could have picked it up while passing someone on the NH boardwalk, in the supermarket, or just walking in the street!
ps. I must be sick. Just bombed out on Wordle for the first time ever!

Blasted a 97 game winning streak.
EDIT: Friend has just advised that the electrician who came to do some work at her house while we were there has also tested positive. We didn’t get within 3 metres of him. It’s that contagious!
