Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

"tanks" here---Dot,
What are you doing up at this hour ? I know; you are getting ready for the Budget release.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Morning everyone.
Well we did go to Bundy yesterday, seems herself needed stuff from Spotlight....but they didn't have what she wanted...so she took vengeance out at Bunnings  We came home with 9 new shrubs to plant :o
I hate Bundy everything is miles apart...according to my phone I walked a kilometer :D
All I needed myself was 8 1/2 inch rivnuts, like hens teeth...Bunnings NO the Bolts shop NO But luck was on my side and found said items in another place that sells nuts and bolts and tools and stuff.
And that was yesterday :D
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. I was kidding myself when I said that storm had passed by yesty morn. It came back with a vengeance and dumped another 100mm or so before it was done. It made for a fun trip as I dropped a friend off at the airport. Now it is still trying to wash Ballina and Lismore away. Might get some grass mowed today, if I'm lucky.
Safe travels everybody. Take care of your back Bernie.
Cheers

Mornin’ all,
Feeling slightly more human today.
Nose has subsided from flooding to just runny.
But the cough is hard to shake.
SWMBO is a little more worser than me. ☹️
We’ll be much more happy when this is over and we can converse face-to-face with other humans.
Conversations with the dogs can be a bit one-sided. 🤔
Although their attempts to lick us better is touching.

On our drive home we had to endure a storm over Sydney… at one point several of us on the motorway had to pull over and wait, as the rain was so heavy the wipers couldn’t clear it even on the fastest speed! Just before stopping we were down to 40km/h & just couldn’t see the car in front!
Not surprised that rivers in the area are bursting their banks…
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Morning all,
Rained all night here at C@sino, rivers up again. Blowing a gale too.
On the 16/3 I had to cancel an eye Drs appointment due to Covid [mine] new appoint at 0740 today. Phone call at 2000 last night from a nurse [at home] to cancel my appoint today as the Dr has Covid. they will contact me re a new appoint when available [the Dr that is].

Hi Peter,
Are you staying at the old C#%A village?
T’other CPs are on lower ground. 🤭
At least that’s on top of the hill next to the airstrip…
Coupla weeks ago saw a pic of C@sino’s main street with what looked like about 12~18” of water running through the intersection.
Are your feet getting soggy?
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Yes Ray staying at the Village, at least I'm on solid ground. Blowing a gale and 5'er rocking slightly. But at least I'm warm, dry and comfortable.
You and Joy stay safe, the Covid takes some getting over, just getting my taste and smell back now.
