Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning All. 14* with forecast 27* and sunny all day. I managed to get the mowing done and got the bus up the driveway at 5:45pm yesterday. I am only on here now because Julie woke me up while getting ready to go to the gym.

Foggy and wet. Should be warming up mid week.
Nothing planned.

All these people having to mow lawns, that's what you get for living in an area where it rains, no problems like that here at the moment and now daylight saving has finished, the lawn will get an hr less sun each day anyway so it won't need mowing till spring

I guess a lot of you will be busy putting the good curtains back up now the extra hr of sun won't be a problem as far as fading .....

Spent Sat morning trying to dig a hole beside the road in front of our house .... thought I'd expose the under road pipe where the water comes across and feed a 240vac cable through there and just run a sump pump with a float switch ...... After 3 attempts, at around an hr each, I wasn't even a shovel head deep .... so I filled it back in and abandoned that idea
Finally got the Kombi to start, picked up another battery I'd recovered from the old Prius battery and ran the pump with that, a lot better, got an hr of pumping before the battery claimed it had given all it was happy to give. By sun down, the battery had recharged enough to get another 30 min pump run, so happy with that.

Spent a few hrs moving rocks that a were donated by a builder clearing up a front yard up the road, tipped them over the bank along with some nice dirt. I've sort of constructed the first bit of a wall along the river bank edge in an attempt to gain a bit more usable area that doesn't get flooded every time the wind blows up river ..... certainly paying for it today

Good arvo, Off to the tongue man this morn, he is ever so pleased, but when I told him about my choking episodes he then sprayed stuff up my nose then shoved a camera up for a squizzy , said the stricture was further down and would need to be knocked out but I declined for now, (scary stuff that) so will see how we do till I see him in 6 mths. Bought a new TV on the way home, looked at so many ipads, little computers and got totally confused, the man said ipad's are good but not as good as the laptops and he would say the fruity one was the best ??????? Too confusing so left that, next was the dash cam, I would like the one the trucks use MiCam truck but may be overkill any suggestions?? Watering lawn now it is so dry.

:Tanks" here---Dot,
Check out this 10 inch dash monitor with 4 cameras of good make. On ebay for around $260 with post ex Sydney.
A mate of mine in WA recently got one of these sets and is very happy with the 10 inch screen.
I think our Pet-Els also has a set-up like this.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
