Dave, I always leave for Taggerty at 5am on a Sunday which allows me to go slightly west of Sydney, the shortest route. I make Gunning by 10:30am.

Re: Good morning daily
If I can start the drive by 10:30 I reckon I've done well, that can be 10:30 in the morning, but not likely, 10:30pm is an achievement if it's the day I planned to leave ....

Re: Good morning daily
Q: Is the rain falling in the Murray Darling catchment or on the coastal catchments?
Terry, Over the years, it hasn't really mattered what time you leave. Arrival at destination seems to be a complex equation of time which; like the Laws of the Universe and Time seem to have scientists and mathematicians equally baffled.
Maybe, the religious laws (aka Act of God) define the arrival time.

Re: Good morning daily
I would say that most of the really heavy rain is falling on ocean catchments. The flooding we manoeuvred around last night was all going into the Murray Darling though. It showered all the way to Dubbo. It seems to have fined up a bit but still overcast.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. We are now at downtown Mulwala. Arrived about 8.30 last night. The rain arrived shortly afterwards. It has been drizzling all night, with a bit more on the way, according to BoM. But they have been wrong before. Looks like a wet day timetable coming up.
Safe travels if you are out and about, there is a lot of water laying about the country side.

Re: Good morning daily
I've just gone to the morning brain stimulation website (Wordle Word today) and found that I my continuous winning streak has reverted to 1. All because I missed a day, due to lack of access. Not happy Mr New York Times

Good morning All. Job that was booked for this morning was postponed last night until next week due to forecast rain. Guess what, no rain this morning until 3pm.
