Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone, I'm back at Mulwala now. On the morning walk yesty I had a bit of a surprise. A group of feral deer were in the neighbours paddock. I watched them for a while, they had no idea I was there til I took some pics.
Achieved not very much else.
Enjoy bin day Tanks, safe travels everybody.

"tanks" here ---David,
I like the Deer in the front yard. Your lawn needs mowing and the house needs painting.
I guess you are having a relaxing time living on the Gold Coast.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Tanks, that's an old woolshed in a 100 acre or so paddock. Up on top of the Strathbogie Ranges The deer like it, nobody bothers them there. But if one of them happened to jump the fence, into the mates place, we'd be looking for venison recipes.
Cheers

Are they an animal which takes off as you get closer ? . I would hate to try and dodge those antlers if they were aggressive

The mountain area around Wollongong are full of feral deer, a serious danger driving at dawn and dusk. The mate with the big bus and trailer build in Dapto would regularly go out and pick off a young one for the wife to try one of her new venison recipes ..... a bit like kangaroo, takes a real talent to cook and remain tender, but like wild kangaroo, a very distinctive flavour all its own and varies with the region they feed.

Still intend to travel while I can, just not so long trips.
The cost of fitting it out scares me, prices are just beyond my expectations.
Only need
D/Bed & side tables & chair.
Dining table and four chairs.
TV $$$$$$$$
TV table/bench.
Recliner chair or two ???
W/m and Drier.
D/w and installation.
Night/Day sofa
Desk for Computer/Printer
Rugs on floor ??
Linen to suite etc
Kitchen utensils ?????????

Well done Peter, you will have some crazy neighbors there !! but great happy hrs. I have plenty of linen and stuff (kitchen) Why do you need a dryer up there? Rugs are for tripping over. Have other furniture but cost of getting it there is out of the question. Start the op shop shopping but Bruce said it all Local Buy sell swap is the way to go.. x
Hmmm...... one well known identity from the CF lives there, friend one minute, arch enemy the next that will go out of his way to make life difficult anyway he can .....
