Got the pic now Dot. Time for an electric fence then. Fingers crossed for the Gman's doc results xxxx
Today we traded, against my thoughts of not working on Good Friday or Easter Sunday. It was a poor sales day, so not too surprised at that. The huge positive is that when we had a very quiet moment, we saw some very familiar faces. It was my half brother and his family, who we have not seen in person, for at least 10years. His teenage daughters, we have watched grow up on f***book, but not seen in person since they were very tiny. After a really good catchup, we parted with promises of getting together soon with all of our family. Could be a bit of organising needed here to fit in with all of our wacky schedules. Hoping this is the impetus to get the family event happening.

The big Meadows Easter Fair is on so we may go for a drive to check it out, haven't been there for years and years, it used to be good until all the $2 shop junk and knitted dolls over ran the place. Usually have a big plant selection but as usual the prices are the same as the town nurseries. Found more rust bubbles on the bus today
G found mouse poop in his big draw under the buss so good clean out and some rat bait offered just in case there are any left. Must of got in when the bus was at the mechanics in their paddock. They have to go as I don't want Brian to be scared
Going to bed now so Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Bruce x

Tell George to spray some WD-40 to stop the mice .

Dot, that festival sounds good. Hopefully they have weeded out the imported crap and you get to see a lot of handmade things. The festivals that I do, all demand a certain quality in products for sale. If not up to their expectations, you will be asked to pack up and go home. Well that's the threat, never seen it happen. Enjoy your festival xxxx
Keith, your suggestion to use wd40 to get rid of vermin is very interesting. Do you know how it works? I am very interested.
The sunshine was again beautiful. We had a few more customers today. Not enough to get excited about. We did have a lady fall in love with one of my favourite bowls. She asked for it to be wrapped and she would return. I have had this happen before and only about half do actually return. Anyway, I slowly wrapped the bowl and when she returned, she also wanted one of the kiln sculptures. That led to a bit of excitement on our behalf. Her purchases certainly made the day's takings look a lot healthier.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
I saw something this morn Dot that would have got your dandy up.
Went to visit a chap working on a hire boat outboard motor. Side decks about 6" wide so I went through the inside of the boat.
On the floor in the lounge was a mouse stuck to one of those 'humane' sticky pads. They do work! Legs were still going 100 mph!

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
You are right Bruce my dander would have gone off, I don't like mice but those sticky things are so cruel, I would pref the mouse to be put out of its misery fast not left to die slowly and in pain.. (Watch out Terry) Tanks I got growled at by G man for using the WD40 too liberally on the bolts screws but hey the bus needs a good clean. I have moth balls to go in the draw plus some yummy almonds on some traps if there are any mice lurking.
Told you good sales Deborah, BTW the Easter market has not changed, still the same ol same ol. Next grouch is next doors dog is crapping on our place, so I gathered it all up and will give it back to them. Tonight (2345hrs) it was barking at the bird cage until I turned the light on. I think we have been extra obliging to next door, they can't do any work in their yard as they have to use our driveway, next to come is getting the water tank into place using our driveway. Why can't one of the 4 inhabitants take the dog for a walk where it can crap elsewhere?? And of course they would take a bag with them. I might have to get Flo to bring Rosy dog up to put the cats and of course the pooping dog in their place. Grrrr. Have you got to use those new balls yet Shirley? Time for bed so Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, time to get in the bus and leave those stressful people behind. Do lock the gate with more than a small padlock to really inconvenience them, before you leave. A padlock is only as good as their angle grinder, so you have to get a really difficult to cut one. Thanks for your positivity for my sales. xxxx
Shirley, don't stress looking for Tanks message. It was really meant for me. I did receive it and it was most interesting about wd40 and it's mice inhibiting factors Glad that your balls are making others turn green eyed. Hope the score card is improving too as the balls are getting used to your style. xxx
It was a whole 7 degrees this morning when we set up our wares. Luckily, we are right behind a big roller door which they have been opening and it lets the morning sun shine right in and onto us.
Today we had a few more sales, but as the products were not as expensive, the final figure was less than yesterdays. We are finally in the making a profit zone. Our smiles are looking more genuine now. The event finishes at 3 pm tomorrow, but quite a lot of the outside traders are fully packed up have left the arena. Will be interesting to see how many traders are still operating tomorrow.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Cleaning the bus inside and the amount of dirt that came out of the water bucket is unreal. Started the fridge and freezer up and have loaded some food in so there won't be too much to do when we are ready to hit the road and that will be in 1 week. Have the lady at the back to check the birds and our mate Flo will be coming up to also check around the place. Heading to the block tomorrow for a weed check. Might pop along to see that guy in Mannum. Also have a couple of those model planes to drop off to a friend at Birdswood. Watching the boys on bikes,God those guys are fit. Time for bed so Goodnight everyone x
