Hi all I am leaving here at Kilmore early next week and we need someone to volunteer to take over.
I am at the base camp for Blazeaid and it is where all the tools etc are stored, even though there is little left.
You also help Kevin Butler around the farm where possible as well as liaison with all the camps.
We are desperate for someone to relieve me as Kevin has just had a major scare and needs some rest. He is in hospital at the moment.
He runs a sheep farm with merino and Suffolk sheep and they need attention. He has some in the yards at the moment and I don't know what to do as I am not a farmer.
So preferably we would like an ex sheep farmer who could help Kevin till he gets home and on his feet. This guy has worked his butt of running his farm, a small carrying business as well as Blazeaid and now desperately needs a hand himself.
I am sitting in a paddock so you need to be self contained and be able to work more or less unsupervised and just help to look after the sheep and a few daily tasks around the farm such as bore and pump maintenance as well as checking on the sheep and fences etc.
You are only a few kilometers from Kilmore township and less than 45 minutes from Melbourne.
If you know someone who may be interested in giving a hand please contact me or go onto the blazeaid.com site and leave an email at the gmail acoount.
Regards
Brian

Re: Who wants my Job
HI Dot.
Sad as it seems Kevin is not that well known in his hoe town it is only when you get to the areas that were actually burnt out or even down in Melbourne Blazeaid and Kevin is known widely.
When I go to the local shops many people don't know about Blazeaid.
Also there are few sheep farmers in the area they are mainly hobby farmers or Collin Street farmers around here.
I will possibly stay a few days extra to give him some more time to get someone but he got out of hospital and was told to have a good rest and withing hours he was out in the shed working on sheep and today we are doing some shearing and crutching.
Anyway better get down to the shed before he gets to active.
Regards
Brian

Nah George would bring the vintage with him.
Not sure what to do as I have to leave here for a while before Easter but I might come back for a little while until they get someone but if they know I can stay longer they wont look until I put the pressure on again.
We have put a note on Face Book and I have not rang Lynn yet to see if that had any responses and I have one from the GN that can give one week so it mat fall together yet.
