Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

George; sleep walking at night. Common. Men get up and think the wardrobe is the bathroom.
The door hits them in the nose because it opens the other way. Causes the bleeding.

A simple check, look in the shoe box for urine..... and before you say "no, my shoes are dry." Check Julies.

George,

in all seriousness,

Remember when I had the collapsed lung; which basically ruptured. The doc's reckon there was no reason for it. However, I reckon it popped due to a bit of high blood pressure. Which, then led to the quad bypass 6 months later. If I hadn't got in touch with a cardio who spotted everything, who knows what would of happened.

It may be worthwhile delving a little deeper into the high blood pressure.

Hi Jon,
I am currently on hold with GP Acces due to the fact that I am now experiencing slight nose bleeding. My BP initially when at the hospital was 150/95 which reduced to 135/90. Normally it is around 120/80. I am considering returning to John Hunter emergency.

David,
Especially for you! 😀

How do you stop the wood stain fading Ray? We spent ages soaking all the timber for the big bus bed in a deep rose colour stain, then soaked it in stained oil and finished off with
China oil (Tung oil) with stain added .... then not sure what the last coat was but it was to stop the oil wiping off on anything that touched it.
Within 6 mths, the colour had faded to almost neutral wood colour ....

If you look in the top left corner of the photo you’ll find the answer: Marine Varnish — two coats. 😀
Works well with just wood stains (turps cleanup). Not sure about applying it over oils.
Given he owns a houseboat, Bruce may know more than I do about that. 🤔
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Morning All.
Still playing with the house hot water tank...It looks like the temperate valve is kapoot.
We will be in Maryborough on Thursday so I will get a new one.
Not much else going on...have to build another cupboard for you know who today.
Few other things needing attention...shed being one of them :D I'll get there. ;)
Yesterdays temp was not as the phone said...twas 10* outside...saying 10* but it's cooler.
Nothing to report re my morning walk...haven't seen a wallaby for awhile.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Its good to hear you are following doctors orders Bob.
I dunno why they don't supply new tempering valves with all those new hot water services Bernie.
George, I hope that you get sorted out today, doesn't sound to good.
We are off to the doc early this morn. Terrie has a bit of a recurring issue. We might then go over to the ocean beach for a walk.
Travel safe everybody, have a great day. :D
Cheers
