Re: Good morning daily
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. Its 17° right now and the rain is still going into the tank outside my window.
Bernie, I reckon they should supply a new tempering valve with all those new has. They are usually stuffed when you change them over.
I finally got around to putting doggy door, twice. Measured, cut, install. Dog to big for hole. Go to big green shed, change for bigger size. Now just need to convince him to use it. He uses the small one at gkids, but that's usually just to get food.
Have a great day everybody, safe travels. I hope you enjoy the shops, Bob.
Keith, I see on FBk that there are a swag of people up there already. Maybe some have been up this way for a while.

NRMA have just taken over SGIC insurance in South Australia .... and told us they will not renew our business insurance ...... fools, we have 12 other policies with them and all of them will be moved to another insurer.Keith Morris wrote: ↑Thu Jun 30, 2022 11:44 am for your information:-
I have just renewed my car insurance. NRMA offered a renewal of my policy which is due on 2nd August. $1160.00 for 12 months.
I searched for quotes and I have accepted WOOLWORTHS INSURANCE who quoted me $345.00 for 12 months- (drive less-pay less) with much the same conditions as NRMA. The only change was a reduction of $2000 in the agreed value of the car. I accepted Woolworths immediately effective from 1st July, cancelled the remainder of the NRMA policy and received $62.80 refund.
IT PAYS TO SHOP AROUND.

After what NRMA did to me over in NSW with their CTP insurance, my advice would be to avoid them entirely. They didn't seem to care that we had been loyal policy holders for more than 12 yrs and had some 10 policies or with them over there, they simply screwed me over to say a few $$ in a fund that they shouldn't be able to touch and has millions in it that is being held to pay out motor vehicle accident victims .... which I was ..... it just instinct I believe to screw over anyone making a claim ......

I gave up NRMA membership at the age of 19 after they were unable to help with a minor breakdown on two occasions. Their insurance back then was more expensive than elsewhere and it was also compusory to pay for NRMA membership as well. I have saved quite a bit over the last 57 years.

Re: Good morning daily
NRMA insurance is actually a different entity to the road side service these days, the split was many yrs back. A lot of people were dumping their NRMA roadside assistance in disgust after the way the insurance arm was being run, so eventually they parted ways.Newcastle George wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 2:19 pm I gave up NRMA membership at the age of 19 after they were unable to help with a minor breakdown on two occasions. Re: Good morning daily
We had 13 policies with SGIC, all our eggs in the one basket to avoid that blame shifting crap that insurance companies love to do ..... experienced it with the Prius claim and that quickly fizzed out when we told them to send us the claim papers for that policy because everything was insured with them ...... but in the end they lost out on 12 mths worth of premiums because they assessed the Prius to be an economic write off so all insurance from the date of the claim was ended ..... they had to return the payment for the following yrs insurance because they had cancelled the policyjon_d wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 3:15 pmI'm not quite following.NRMA have just taken over SGIC insurance in South Australia .... and told us they will not renew our business insurance ...... fools, we have 12 other policies with them and all of them will be moved to another insurer.

We are in the process of moving all our insurance policies from SGIC/NRMA South Australia to other insurance companies while watching they aren't just different names for the same insurance group AIG https://www.iag.com.au/about-us/what-we ... 0Insurance. Another interesting read is this one https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insurance_Australia_Group
There are really only four main insurance groups in Australia, as to whether there is actually only two insurance groups and the links are so deeply hidden in cross company ownership is some thing that can't easily be verified, however the strong denial by some of the companies sort of points to that being the case ....

Ahh. Ok.
So you currently have 12 policies with NRMA and are moving them.
Understand now.
