Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Morning all. Has warmed up a bit now and only -2dec. Totally white everywhere but will probably end up being a nice day. Very dry up here and with all the fogs and frosts it doesn't look good for any rain in the near future. Cheers John

Good morning 11c, bleak, o'cast, grey clouds & raining again 💦💦 we need to send some down to you John, calm Lake & southerly breeze today.

After my very enjoyable roll up y'day, I came home & the eldest g'son had called in & cooked himself & Jacob soon to be 12, bacon & eggs  before leaving for work with " I'll come & see Nan tomorrow." Jacob immediately asked " can you take me to the skate park Nana, " after some lunch, off we went to Bateau Bay, the best park in our area, we arrived home late arvo to find the other 3 boys with Bruce, they are all ok except Oliver 9, still very quite & not feeling 100%.

Anyone that knows our area the road along past Lakes beach parking areas was still half closed, the southern lane was underwater, 40 speed limit & using northern lane & shoulder to allow traffic thru, if this rain continues it will end up closed again.

Certainly will have a great men's shed setup when all finished Bernie, be careful & take your time climbing on ladders.
Shirley & Bruce.

Shirley,
If you pump up your car tyres to 80psi+, you should be able to float your car over the floodwaters. 😁

What, he only gets one beer for normal time assistance, so double time penalty rates equals a few beers ...... ask him if he wants a job in Mannum SA, I reckon I could afford to pay those sort of wages

Shed is looking quite a bit further ahead now, once you put the roof on you can have a rest for a while eh ;)

Margaret came into the bedroom at not much past sun up and declared it was -2*C again in
Mannum but the thermometer in the house said it was -4*C, but it didn't feel warmer outside ..... pulled the blankets up, rolled over and went back to sleep 8-) Woke up at around 10:30 with the cat sprawled out on top of me to get the max warmth available .... that is one heavy cat
French toast with melted cheese on top and a cup of coffee for breakfast/lunch, and now at the workshop doing some more on the Silver Prius towards fitting the new experimental LTO battery pack.

I did watch the top 10 shootout though Dottie, them Fords are quick eh, top 3 fastest .... Not just First On Race Day, but 1st, 2nd and 3rd poor Rory the lion was left right out

This is the WEEK now
With a growing awareness of the distinct cultural histories of Aborigines and Torres Strait Islanders, NADOC became known as the National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee, NAIDOC. This new name has become the name by which the whole week is now called, not just the day.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
