Nigel's friend , the weather man reckons it's going to rain on Thursday and Friday in QLD and NSW near the coast.
He thinks about 100mm over the two days.
Good morning daily

Re: Good morning daily
We have a cooker made from a recycled 9kg gas cylinder.
As with T1’s, has a latched door, a strip of steel welded to the outside of the cut top so the top bit can sit without falling off. (Collar/handle neatly removed.)
Added to that top is a tube exhaust with a butterfly valve inside to control the fire intensity. A ring of ½” holes around the bottom provides air entry, and there’s a fire grille so ash falls through, and two steel rods to support the 4.5qt camp oven which fits neatly inside with a ¾” gap all around.
A bucket of kindling & four heat beads is all we need for a roast leg (lamb or beef) & veg which provides four good size meals & leftovers for sangers.
We’ve used it under our fibreglass ODLA without problems.
It also keeps us toasty warm while it’s cooking.
Bought it from a fellow motorhomer from Tasmania years ago. He made half a dozen to bring across & sell.
I think he said ours is a Mk IV. Told me the exhaust chimney is a 4” section of a Holden tailshaft with a home-made butterfly valve.
Also have a brazier made from a 4.5kg gas bottle. Came with a hotplate. Cast iron frying pan fits neatly without the hotplate. Great for snags & eggs!

Morning all another cold at 4c and the same for the next few weeks.
New AC unit going in this morning do not think it will go off at all after10 days with no heating.
Heading in to take the new Ranger V6 Wildtrac for a quick spin this morning will see how it goes.
Have a great day cheers Robert

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. Its 11° here on GC, heading for 22, much same as yesty. The man thinks we might get some showers this arvo, with more coming later this week.
I had to buy some flat steel for some brackets I need to make our slideout repairs. It's not cheap anymore.
Any progress on the shed building Bernie?
How's the oil pump going JonD ? Is the showground drying out yet Helen? It was getting a bit muddy last time we passed by there. Have a top day everyone. Safe travels.

Re: Good morning daily
Good afternoon 12c, very cloudy & light consistent rain, woke to having had rain o'night, went to bowls finally decided to have a roll up, managed to play for 1 1/2 hours & rain started again, rain predicted to hang around all week our bowls pennants start on Thursday & we play at Davistown 43 kms away, nothing worse than driving there to have it cancelled because of rain.

Next instalment will be a 45* bend pipe out the top of the Chimera to direct the smoke out past the eves ..... then i need to figure out a way to close in the patio without it looking like I've closed it in or blocked her view ... which can't be seen in the dark anyway need a "shaking my head" emoji
