Parked up overnight at the rear of the hotel at Kiata. Kiata is a tiny town 12km on the Melbourne side of Nhill half way between Melbourne and Adelaide. Just a pub and a few houses. Publican, wife and locals are all friendly. Had a few beers and a meal. They don't promote themselves or have facilities - just a big area of flat land behind the pub back off the highway enough so the traffic won't annoy you, Buy a meal or a couple of drinks, ask if you can park out back, and tell them Steve sent you.
P.S. It's also halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne - funnily.
