Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning again everyone. Dunno where my earlier went. Probably to the ether via operator error.
Having a day off from sprucing up the renter, so I have a list of stuff to do today while Terrie is teaching. Also on doggie day care as a new fence is going up at her regular abode.
Saw lots on the walk this morning, some tawny frogmouths, in their usual tree. Also saw a huge barracuda in the lake up the road. All was peaceful until a pelican came along. The little dog doesn't like them, so she gave it a verbal send off. Safe travels everybody, get well soon all those feeling unwell.

He reckons wait till you see QLD in the next couple of days. Dave, better clean the gutters.

Sounds like Scott's got no friends.

Thanks Jon. Nigel's rarely wrong. But he was the other week. We have that spouting with all the slots in it, so it overflows into the garden.

Scomo never had any friends, just mates from his political party. Except our local member. He's been a bit quiet too.

Picked Margaret up at the airport yesterday morning, the plane was 30 mins late leaving Sydney due to the huge crowds trying to get through the security part due to under staffing with a lot off sick.

Decided to take the rest of the day off, mowed the front lawn, it didn't look that long to me, but 3 1/2 green wheelie bins full later, it looks like a newly sheared sheep  Took it all down to the river bank where I'm trying to build it up to protect against the high water expected ...... too little too late it appears, my rock wall is no where to be seen and my pump I rebuilt and put on a pallet well up the bank, is now semi submerged a foot or so from the shore ...... So I found a new high water mark at the base of the big tree where a fairly large rock buried in the dirt seems to mark a higher river bank, so that was the spot to add the grass clippings.

Dave,

why is there an elephant in the tree? ... maybe s/he knows it's going to rain. Oh of course, a Nigerian elephant.

Geez, George, an elephant could be hiding in that and you wouldn't know.
