We had paid to stay in Queensland until tomorrow, but woke to find the winds are up and the dust storms all round the showground have played havoc with our heads. So we upped stakes and have returned to NSW. Staying in a showy at Moree for tonight. Our next stop was meant to be Gunnedah, but now we have found this weekend they are having their ag quip show and the town is full. I snagged a caravan park at Narrabri for a couple of nights. We are desperate to do some washing and need to use their machines to do this. My wardrobe had been packed with the intention of wearing summer Tshirts and happy pants to go to sales and from Lightning Ridge north. Hah, that has not happened. I wore a Tshirt one day and that's all. Washing is on the agenda for the next couple of days.

Nice welcome into NSW...not. The only signs are to warn road trains and oversized trucks that the rules are different in NSW. Next sign warned of speed cameras and the next sign was about phone monitoring and fines. Do you reckon this state only cares about getting money out of everyone?

Deborah, they have installed a red light camera at the LM traffic lights near the schools, where the overhead walkway is located, doesn't appear to be operational yet.

Have to say it but I am watching Austin powers and there is the part when he meets the "mole",I know a lady with the same mole on her face even with the big black hairs sticking out of it. Chuck remembers the time he also met this woman and I had purposely told him about the mole just to be sure he understood not to do the Austin Powers reaction of thinking the said mole had changed places on the face. BUT as one would expect he just had to act What the ?? reaction , after the lady had left we had to have a good laugh. Not PC but stiff titties Last night I was on the ph to my NZ M8 only 3 hrs. Heading to check the block then a bit further down the road for lunch with a friend, need to get out of the house for a bit. Shirley I hope you are getting used to those new balls of yours, never know they may be your secret weapon for you and your team.. Deborah have a few days rest when you get home. Man that did our roof has actually called to say he would be coming to look at the problem. To me that means a complete re do . That Deborah is a sly one, was the T shirt wet? Today we had a day out and met up with the sister of a friend in WA .She and her husb are not far from us (Springton) For you boys this lady was one of the play boy bunny in London. What an interesting and funny lady. Left there rather late in the afternoon and had to drive home in the dark and thankfully no roos jumped out at us. Got home at 7pm. totally knackered so I am now off for a shower and then to bed e buys. Back to rain and winds so bed will be welcome. This morning George had to bully Norman to get him off the golf ball and to be hold there was another egg so that was taken care of, looks like another golf ball will be put there tomorrow. We stopped at the bock this morning and bugger me the plovers were still on the eggs in the middle of the yard?? how long do these eggs take to hatch? Shirley, thanks for the warning, That's one set of lights that I think really warrants a camera. So many eeejits out there at school in and out times.

Narrabri was awash today with big loads of oversized farm machinery. Enjoyed watching them from the edge of the road and not wanting to pass them. We think it was the exhibits from agquip at Gunnedah. Amazing just how big some of these farm machines are.

Will probably be a step closer to home by tomorrow night.

Saw a few more of the huge loads of farm equipment on the road to Gunnedah. Once past Gunnedah, we saw no more oversized loads. We made our way South to Muswellbrook showgrounds. Luckily the caretaker had just had a cancellation and we got the last possible site for the night. This place is making a sh load of money with 65 powered sites that are never empty and most of the campers only stay the one night, Nothing is crammed in and the place is just well spread out.

Home tomorrow.

Good to see you are warmly tucked up Deborah. Suddenly I have a UTI ?? onto the Ural, and I have aged 20yrs into nana nappy era You needed to know that, well the prostate had a run . You would of been proud of the Jayco Boys on Bikes in the team pursuit for the start of the La Vuelta Yesterday. Stage 2 on now. Our water filter for the bus should be here sometime next week then we can get the awning on and maybe just maybe we can bugger off for a few days. Always something getting in the way. Guess what G found again today? Yep Norman sitting on a golf ball and a freshly laid egg so that went and another golf ball is in situ. .Usually they only lay a couple of eggs. The town is full of people for the Antiques fair, dealers everywhere. The R) ankle has had a good result from the steroid jab but I have also been going easy on it as the L) ankle is also needing attention.
