Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I can remember all those things. My kids will remember some, if not most.
But the kids of today will never know most of those things.
I can almost remember when I didn't forget.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Helen, Laing family live at North Entrance. Lorraine & Col Laing, he has given 60+ years to surf lifesaving, they were in the Toukley swimming club when we were members, related to you? Believe he came from the area.
Lauren Laing sold me my Isuzu, she lived Gosford area, wasn't related to Col, it is an unusual name.

Mainly Pumpkins and cucumber...they need to have the bee's do their thing.
Nothing seen on my walk.
Keep safe.

Good morning everyone. I hope that your daughter gets her op soon Bernie. It was pretty windy yesty so there weren't many out walking on the beach. Mowed the grass and did some packing. We are off to Perth today, so we can finally get to travel on the Indian Pacific, back to Sydney. Been over 3 years since we booked.
Happy hump day, safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Morning all.

Phoenix and I are at Glenlyon on the way to Sepelts today.

Cold night. Phoenix snores. Doesn't understand what shut up and a poke means.

First day back at work after the cataract what ever was done in the right eye. Yesterday was eye patch off day, that look inside the eye with the bright light thing certainly hurts for a while afterwards. Double sun glasses for the trip home, tried with the lense removed for the Polaroid sunnies but that was not on, pain inside the eye itself, but I could watch tv with the sunnies on, so that was good. This morning, even though it's dark and overcast, still too much for the eye, but maybe better tomorrow.
Hard typing with the right eye closed, more spelling and typo errors that normal
Now to see if I can see enough to continue this truck wiring stuff, wish I'd stop rubbing the eye, well half a rub is enough to tell me that it wasn't a clever thing to do
I thought about watching AFL while I was still one eyed, but the left one shut on reflex and I could still hear the crap the talking heads go on with, so I at least new the hadn't dug too deep and given me brain damage ;)

Terry, I do hope you're following your medical advice. No point playing heroics with your sight. You're the the only person who loses.

Good evening All, had xray of neck and shoulder and received results on Monday but no conclusion so was sent for an ultrasound. Results yet to be received. My Bone Density test showed no deterioration so all good.

Jon is right Terry. Take it easy. Let it all heal at its own speed, please.
When watching the AFL, turn the sound down. Listening to some of those commentators is worse than listening to Phil Gould and his biased comments on an NRL game.
Cheers
