Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Agree with the above, T1!
Don't wire up a truck if you can't see clearly… you could cross-wire something & cause an accident down the track.

Good morning everyone. We are sitting in a little tour bus waiting for a spare bus to come along. Ours has a faulty air compressor. Lucky we are only on a half day tour. The joys of touring. I hope you have fun doing nothin' again today Bernie. Anyone heard from Bob?
Enjoy bin day Tanks. Safe travels everybody.

"tanks" here---
Thanks for thinking of me from the Far West. Enjoy Perth and the trip on the train back to the East.
I did the Indian Pacific trip several times back in 1971/2/3. Most enjoyable and food was very good and well presented.
The fare one-way in those days for 1st class was around $700.00, and the journey took 4 days Sydney to Perth.
The Vet is coming to see Major today, so not a happy time for him.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Now to see if I can see enough to continue this truck wiring stuff, wish I'd stop rubbing the eye, well half a rub is enough to tell me that it wasn't a clever thing to do
Terry, I do hope you're following your medical advice. No point playing heroics with your sight. You're the the only person who loses.
Jon is right Terry. Take it easy. Let it all heal at its own speed, please.
When watching the AFL, turn the sound down. Listening to some of those commentators is worse than listening to Phil Gould and his biased comments on an NRL game.
Can't argue with that statement, no idea why they still have him on the commentary team, he certainly spoils a good game of footy ...... I've found with AFL, not only turning the sound off but changing to another channel certainly improves my enjoyment levels

Eye is better today, just wish the "flashing" would go away, it's like a faulty neon tube trying to light up, but at a much higher frequency .....
No risk with the wiring up of the truck, if I don't feel confident in what I'm doing, I go and have a coffee ... yesterday I lasted till about 4pm, no point going on any more because the break time was getting longer than the actual work time .... had a sleep when I got home and the eye was much better when I woke up to watch Forged in Fire on SBS ..... the bloke that does the strength tests is going to have terrible joint pain in his right arm when he gets a bit older, not only the knives, but the human arm parts swinging it were never design for that sort of punishment .....

I was thinking, what a great way to pick up a vehicle from Perth and bring it back to Adelaide and include a holiday as part of the deal .... so I looked up the prices  although driving over and back towing a trailer would cost a fair bit as well so .....
Heard too many stories about sending a DIY electric vehicle across on the train or truck/train/truck, destroyed batteries because they forgot to turn the vehicle off, vehicles left in a paddock because the battery was now stuffed so it couldn't be reloaded ..... not a bargain price if it gets wrecked on the way back to Adelaide .....

Late Morning all.

Visited Murtoa this morning. Home of Big Al. (Alan41) and the stick shed.

Goodness, if you're ever in the area, it's worth a gob-smacking visit.

It's a pretty awesome sight to see, isn't it. Was only supposed to last a few years. Certainly exceeded that.

Good evening, Terry Bruce had his second eye done on Monday too, this time the eye lid has been swollen & he reckons you hit the nail on the head with how his eye feels, he has been saying felt like he'd had a welding flash, he has an app., for check up next Tuesday, had very little trouble with first eye, he is 100% happy with his vision from it.
Hope your eye settles down & feels improved soon.
Shirley & Bruce.

A wet good morning from Degilbo.
I almost seen those pesky Brolga's yesterday they were real close but alas curvature of the planet was in the way  Plenty of bird life around...Spring is in the air...some are nesting.
I have ordered the stuff for re-coating the roof of the motorhome...looks like a interesting job coming up ;)
keep warm and dry.
