Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

All travelling well Dot? xxxx

Thanks for the comments Dot and Shirley. The bowls are just the start of getting ready to do a couple of Christmas weekends that are coming up soonish. Port Macquarie is the end of this month and the Bathurst Christmas market is two weeks after that.

The kiln is full of some test runs of buttons for the skin specialist. She has a quilting project on the go and wants a selection of different buttons for her wall hanging. Tonight I have some round pieces going through the heating up and soon I will try some different colour combinations in square patterns. What she doesn't buy, will be good for earrings, so nothing wasted.
I have been making a start on some different Christmas trees, not really impressed by them just yet. But have some more on the waiting shelf to get warmed up soon.

stay safe in the rain everyone who is impacted by it.

Amazing, innit?
Saturday’s Top Ten Shootout was cancelled because of impossibly heavy rain.
Today’s Big Race was held in ‘fine & sunny’ conditions (high clouds, but nil rain).
Only a burst water pipe above Turn 1 proved a problem for the whole of the race (unless you count water leaking under the retaining wall at Forrest Elbow — which caused no end of problems by itself).
I reckon it was fitting for Holden to finish 1-2 ahead of the Ford Mustang on the marque’s swansong.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Back home, done a few loads of holiday washing and watched the mighty holden win their last big race, the mustang slacked off a lot in the final laps  Had a lovely week away. Norman and his daughter wife had dropped 2 eggs (smashed) Brian was happy to be home and marked every shrub he could manage. Off to the city tomorrow for the checkup of my thumb, healed well but I sure know about it if I touch it the wrong way. Keep those arty bowls in production Deborah I reckon they are winners for sure. Shirley keep your bowls on the move as well  Rather tired now so off to bed e buys, Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight jd x :D Glad to hear you made it home OK.

Welcome home Dot. Good to see you had some quiet time away from that noisy galah. xxxx

Keith, I don't function at normal hours mate, and we do the daylight saving thingy too.

It's been wet here again. Last night our gauge clocked nearly 3 inches and I really don't doubt it at all. Our internet was crashed and the only thing that we could hear was the crashing rain on our roof. Don't want to see that too often. We had no leaks, so the man who did our ridge capping obviously did a good job. It was the sort of rain that , if it was going to leak, it would be then.

I am trying to get some Christmassy things done, but not having much success. There are some in the kiln tonight, so tomorrow I will know more.

Deborah...

Nigel reckons for you to make a rain drop totem pole. He says that might stop the rain.

Warm day made the trip to town very pleasant. Saw the hand surgeon for the thumb check up and he was pleased with the healing, said the tingling sensation would take up to maybe 3 mths to settle :( Like a permanent dental numbness on the thumb. While we were in the area we called in to see one of the forum members and had a cuppa and caught up on their news which was a lot but they are getting through ok. SteveW and Bronwyn in Glenelg. :)
Take care on the road Tanks and hope everything comes to fruition. ;)
Though my eye floaters were breeding with the snowflakes now falling so I tried to zap the bigger blacker one
Keep slogging away Deborah, Xmas is near.
Shirley Keep the bowls practice up ready for the big win next year.

Good medical report Dot. You must still be above ground, so that's good isn't it?  xxxx

Safe travels Keith. May your mystery be exciting for you.

I think the growing snowflakes is a worry. Soon they may take over the pages. They are not as big as some of our latest raindrops.

Another day with a sudden call from the doc to take his nibs back for more talks. We have to return on Friday morning, so I don't think we will be going to our jayco weekend this weekend. I really do need the therapy, but it is what it is.

Maybe I will get back to my shed tomorrow and find some therapy there. I don't have anything needing hammer therapy at the moment, but maybe I should find some. Good thinking Nigel.
