Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. Its the same here Bernie. Overcast and ordinary with a cold wind blowing. Went to the big shops yesty. I don't know where all the people come from, the place was packed. Terrie only needed to go to 7 different shops to buy something. I sat outside most of them and did eye exercises. Picked up the Winny on the way home. All serviced now and has new start batteries too.
If we are lucky we will get away this arvo, for a few days in the bush. Happy hump day everybody, safe travels. Enjoy your rest day Bob.
Cheers
David

Outside it is 17.3c and waiting for the sun to shine, the sky is cloudless and there is a light dew on the grass.

Morning all.
Stress test today. Bit of a check up.

Dave. Aren't you short sighted? You'd have to get pretty close to focus when exercising?

“tanks” here---
I started out by posting an update of my actions and Watch-this-Space posting yesterday.
However, that all went to cyberspace and is floating around somewhere—but I can't find the posting on the forum, so here goes again.

My trip to Mackay yesterday was to collect two old girls name Ruby and Jasper. Have I got you guessing yet? Ruby is a Maltese Terrier and is 9 years old. Jasper is a Staffy and is 8 years old and she is a much bigger breed of dog.

Both the girls are well behaved and obedient and adorable. Ruby likes to sit on my lap, and this is no trouble as she is only as long as my forearm and weighs two sparrow farts. Jasper is much bigger and is content to sit on my left foot. The dogs have lived together for over 6 years and would fret if separated, so I have now two dogs to spend time with.

The girls investigated every room and nook and cranny and found Majors favorite places and his scent. I took them on a few escorted tours of the back yard to establish their boundary and introduce them to the mango tree and other 'pee' places.

We spent the night watching Judge John Deed on the TV, and just getting to be familiar with each other. Little Ruby growls or barks at the slightest outside noise and will make a good watchdog for me. Jasper responds to her alarm and offers her bulk in support.

The previous owner has to move out of her rental house as the rent has increased so much that she can't afford to live there any longer. She is returning to Tasmania to live with her parents and can't take the dogs with her. This is the way things are in the Central Highlands of Queensland with rents in Mackay average around the $500 to $600 per week and less than 1% vacancy.

I will post photos on the forum when I learn how to do that.

Good morning, 16c, prediction is no rain, partly cloudy, looks bleak across the lake either a heavy sea fog or rain.

Played in the Major singles y'day, I was beaten by last year's winner 25-18, better luck next year, I was happy with my play & enjoyed the game, I'll be marking tomorrow if weather permits.

Enjoy the new girlfriends Keith, great that you have company again, certainly lucky for you & lucky for them that you found one & another.🐶
