Not getting too cold for you Dot? Bloomin freezing here mate xxxx
Decided to totally cancel the weekend away, due to his nibs health. I really miss our jayco family, but that's life.
His Nibs had a chiro appointment today, so I went with him. He is ok, just me being cautious. After making several phone calls about why we had to pull out of the weekend, I was just fed up. So did the usual house wifey thing and cooked up a fancy slice to sweeten us up and a big pot of slowcooked beef n veg. Enough food to keep us going for a while.
Stay sane, dry and warm out there,
night all xxx

Good to hear the old boy is feeling better so have a peaceful weekend at home. Today was just beautiful and warm so it was my job to do the weed spraying. Took 15 litres to do the whole place and that was hard yacka. The Boysenberry plant has started to form fruit and is covered in flowers and even the fruit trees are starting to get fruit woo hoo Beans we planted 2 weeks ago have popped out of the ground and the 1 tomato plant is still alive. Had a good chat to HTFFBO this arvo and all good with her
Naughty Norman has been at it again

Off to see physio AJ tomorrow so must away to bed e buys now. Jab # 5 getting booked tomorrow. Stay safe everyone . Goodnight to one and all x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot you shouldn't blame Norman!
You do know birds lay eggs even if not fertile ones? All the chook eggs are from hens that have never had the "pleasure".
As long as you keep taking them away she will try to lay enough to sit on & hatch out.
Leave a dozen eggs in a chooks nest & they go clucky & sit on them.
Keep taking them away & she'll keep laying more.

But Norman keeps ruffling his daughter's feathers then another egg appears, the other virgin daughter doesn't lay any. Replaced the newest egg with an older egg so will see what happens, think a chat to our bird vet may be in order.
A bit of rain today but not too much. Poor old NSW and Vic are copping it. Sorting linen out tomorrow.
I hope. I need a physic, before we went away, I put the car and house keys somewhere "safe" buggered if I can remember where they are. Suppose they will turn up one day. Wind is starting to pick up, and Brian is still snuggled up in his bed so I reckon I shall head off now. Safe on the roads if travelling and get well if crook. Goodnight everyone x

When we lost the spare car and house keys they turned up when it was time to turn the mattress. Not saying who hid them, but it wasn't me.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Shock of my life today, last night I saw an ad for roof repairs, so I left a message, within a few minutes there was a reply and asking for my ph number for the guy to ring me. Did that and at 9am and the guy spoke to Gman and arranged a 3pm meeting, he rang again at 11am and asked if he could come earlier? 1pm. He was here right on time, hopped on the roof and wrote a quote there and then. A really nice Tnglish guy to boot. Now await till next Tuesday for the other guy to turn up for another quote then we proceed with the court action to the original no speak any lingo to get the roof done correctly. Shall see. I have a problem with healing, I heal very fast and end up with scar tissue which is what is happening with my thumb so lots of gentle massage with bio-oil. Planted a few cuttings today, they may or may not survive. Fruit starting to form on the trees, bees' bees and bees everywhere. Stay awat from swollen rivers everyone, Goodnight, everyone x

Dot, you painters sound like a positive step. Hope it works out for you asap xxxx
The rain has been yucko, but life here has been terrifying.
Late Wednesday, I had a phone call from a brain surgeon, who had been receiving the reports of His Nibs brain MRIS and CT scans, sent by our gp. We had to be in his surgery at sparrows f***s on Thursday. His news was scary. Instead of his bruising, doing what most do, like a self cleaning, his is just growing. So he has to have the bruised blood etc drained out. This op will be next Wednesday and to say that we not too happy to be going down this path, but it has to be done. We both liked the surgeon. He told us things straight and explained everything really clearly, but it has left us feeling a bit scared.
His Nibs won't be allowed to drive for 6-12 weeks, depending on how the surgeon feels after seeing his after the first 6 weeks are up.
I have been sending apologies to so many people. We were booked in for 3 more weekends with our mob, before Christmas and all of them have had to be cancelled. Then I had to cancel the next 2 big festivals that we usually do this time of the year. I especially felt bad about Port Macquarie, because we have done it for so many years and the profits go to a charity. So my table fees will get donated to the funds. Obviously my Christmas budget will be a little bit slimmer than usual, without the big weekend events. His Nibs health is far too important for me to worry about losing a bit of business.
Today was spent organising his "wardrobe" for the week in hospital. Thanks to best and less, he is all sorted.
Hope you all have a great weekend,
night all xxx

Hi Deborah trust all turns out well for the old bloke best to you both.
Dot the painter sounded a bit to quick and when you mentioned Englishman it reminded me of the English gypsies and there scams out here.
Beware of money up front, check business registration and insurance and online review. Might be tell an old chook to suck eggs but when you lose your keys well say no more. Cheers Robert.
