1'tanks" here---
As I sit here waiting for something to happen to keep my mind active, I recall the Petrov Affair and the K.G.B. activity in Australia in the 1950's era.
Now I learn from the TV today that the nut in Russia has had a major attack against the Capital of Ukraine.
I hate to think that the Communist mob are so active, and almost unrestricted with limited retaliation by the EU Nations.
So, in summary;
1: Communist Russia is on the go.
2: The China Communist mob want Taiwan.
3: How long before the North Korea Communist nut wants to have another go at taking over South Korea.
4: Don't even think about Iran or Lebanon.
The world we live in/on, and which way is our government heading?
Keith.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
I have a good, goodnight story, my niece messaged me this afternoon her 14 year old son received news today that they have a new kidney for him, he has been on dialysis treatment each night for about a year, the transplant is scheduled for Wednesday, she was crying what to do next, needs to drive from Balranald to Melbourne, she is on her own, only 2 older teenage daughters, hoping it all is successful & Michael can get back to living a near normal life.
Taking Bruce for final check on the eyes tomorrow morning early & they will give him script for reading glasses if he needs them, hopefully it doesn't rain & I'll be home in time to bowl.
Goodnight everyone.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
That is great news Shirley surgery has come a long way with transplants. My niece had her kidney transplant over 30 yrs ago and has not looked back apart from a few weeks ago she had a urinary infection and was unable to take her anti reaction drugs while in hosp but she is back to being sort of "normal"
All the best for Bruce's eye checkup, then you can head off for a wicked weekend away. Another beautiful day of which we spent in the city, saw my throat surgeon, he stuck a tube up my nose and showed me my throat, said it was too dry to shove the tube any further so now has me in for a wonderful Barium swallow on Thursday, Oh the joys of being old hey? Patted 2 dogs sitting with their owners whilst they were having a coffee so that was my doggie fix. Scout corella is circling, I think it may be calling to our Pete to see if ok to land and let the others know AOK
Had a reply from my friend in Melb 2 streets from the Maribyrnong River and the bottom end of her street is under water so she is packed and ready to go with her 2 dogs. So sad to see all the people and their homes being swallowed up and more to come, so take care everyone. Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Another great day, sunny & warm, G finished a couple of jobs he had been doing and I did nothing because I wanted to give my aching bits a rest. My lemon tree has curly leaf and I think it is missing the men visiting
Q/ any suggestions for spray or ? and what ground cover mulch do you all use? Have had straw cover for the past year but the birds keep scratching it all over the place. Who amongst us has to pay out of pocket expenses for things like scans and X/Rays?? Want to know the legal way to stop that??
Hope all you sickies out there are getting better and are out of the water danger. Goodnight everyone x

Did some chainsaw gardening yesterday… tree near one water tank had a branch rubbing on the tank wall.
It doesn’t anymore.

Chainsaw gardening can be so much fun, and highly productive too. But then you have to clean up all the green waste produced.

Cheers
