Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Shirley, good to hear Bruce is doing well :D Just for once do go into a jewelers shop and let him spoil you. I am very happy today, HOLDEN won again and so did the All Blacks. Some garden work done today but still more to go. Need the pavers cleaned but the place I contacted thought 1/2 hr travelling was a bit too far to come ?? Told the guy it was about 300sq mts then he said he couldn't do a quote by sq mt? hmm. Oh dear workers of today. Hope everyone has had a good day, the sick ones are getting better, and the ones near water are safe. Spoke to HTFFBO this arvo, she is the same olsame ol, trying to grow vegs but eats them before they are ready  Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Deborah x :D

Dot, yep the who flung dung seems good in principle, but not for a really big garden without a really big budget. Good to see the philandering bird may find an end to his adventures. xxxx

His nibs is recovering very slowly and it is becoming frustrating for us both. I don't feel comfortable heading down to my shed , so it has become a bit of domestic goddess stuff for me and resting for the old one.

Summer has sprung here and it does feel good. The westerly winds have been a bit ordinary tho. I had builders here on Friday, dismantling our verandah awning. They will return tomorrow to re-construct it with all new parts. We have been very happy with the style of the awning, but the construction of it has let it down badly, with the powder coated posts rusting out. Bad luck that it was well and truly out of warranty. The builder is working on his own company, but using the original company for parts. The original company has changed hands and the quality is way better. The galvanised posts look pretty schmick. It's taken since March when we ordered it, for all this to happen. At least, this is something that is breaking up a couple of days.

nighty night xxx

Deb,
We buy Whoflungdung in 20kg bags — 15~20 at a time — for the 160-odd roses on our 1.5acres.
We reckon it’s good value as it’s both a fertiliser and mulch.
Out in the yard today cleaning & tidying after some heavy rain, I noticed the WFD is breaking down after 6 or so weeks and is now a good mulch.
Its fertiliser component has done its job for the roses.
Being dual functional saves us doing two rounds of the garden, which would add many hours to the task.

ps. Glad to hear the veranda manufacturer has improved quality 🤞…usually it goes the other way! Good stuff to establish a reputation then the corner-cutting starts when they need to increase output.
Venture capitalists don’t help… usually cutting to the bone to strip maximum profits. Let’s hope that is not the case with your mob.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

What a weird day, it is now blowing a gale and it looks like it will be going on for a few days or so. Happy the Holdens and also the fantastic All Blacks As expected the man that was going to ring today re to discuss a quote for paver cleaning, well he didn't so I sent him a message to thank him for his call, He then messaged "sorry I forgot, will ring you in 15mins." He asked G to send pic of the areas we want done then he could quote??? Sent him one pic other dau and he said he couldn't quote on pics so G measured area and sent him 300sq mt but that he couldn't do so I told him not to bother. What is wrong with people?? Deborah re the stinky poo stuff we have decided to put it around the good plants and the rest will just get the dark pine mulch, will get a pic when done. Not been using my thumb at all to see how it goes but will ring surgeon this week to let him know but have been massaging the scar with eco oil x 2 day. Bet there will be lots of baby birds on the ground after this wind. Take care everyone. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bobr x :D

Evening all doing a quick flying trip to Darwin and I mean flying. As usual stinking hot at 40c and humid. Have an old mate given a couple of weeks to go with the C so one last chat and a beer before the end.

Dot do you just need a pressure cleaner? Can bring mine down when we are back.

Hope every one is keeping safe or improving, for me just finishing a triple hit of steroids and antibiotics for lung infection. Improving but humidity hitting a bit hard. Cheers Robert

Dot, keep that thumb resting. Hoping it settles on it's own. xxxx

Ray the verandah quality has improved, but the main company is still shoddy. They "forgot" to send sail tracks with the posts. That means yet another delay. All the posts have been installed and look schmick, but the covering will maybe be another two weeks, while we wait for the sail tracks and the builder to return. GGGRRR

His Nibs is slowly recovering, but he is still having headaches. I am worrying about all this, of course and he is so lethargic it aint funny any more.

night all xxx
