No not female mind change, a male gas fitter didn't like getting wet whilst doing his stuff, so by the time we got packed up and a water leak appeared in Normans van it was decided to have a more relaxing day and start off fresh in the morning.. Heading for Bendigo I reckon SteveShall travel with lights on so watch out, and UHF on 40. Safe travels everyone. Oh Boss that's not nice

Dot I used to go that way quite a bit.
North of Bendigo a bit you turn off (in fact go straight on rather than turn left) & head pretty well straight line East and come out at Violet Town on the Hume.
I used to leave the Duke's Hwy at Dimboola, Warracknabeal, etc etc to Bendigo. Bit bouncy in places on your airbags!!
Lucky I didn't go & ambush you at Bordertown or I'd have missed you!!

Parked up at Lochiel for the night - near Dimboola. Settled down for cheese bikkies and a Moscato or two. I'll be looking for the big white bus followed by the little white bus tomorrow.

Nice little spot there Steve. There wouldn't be any water in the River there at the moment would there? Well not flowing anyway!
If you're going out through Warracknabeal etc I suggest you go to Donald, Charlton & then Bendigo as it was a better road for my Semi years ago.

I'm going the other way. We have family commitments in Adelaide over Easter, then Port Elliott for the following weekend, the Normanville for 4 days or so with other friends.

Da Boss is not himself lately he does get the wrong end of the stick now & again as if you hadn't noticed Tried the muscato "Gossips" not too shabby if I do say so, still not quite as good as BB though.

It's actually a section of the old highway turned into a rest area. There is an old tree there that is known as the weeping gum & was a well known meeting place back in the 1800's.
