Good morning Dot. It wasn't the brakes keeping me awake, it was Bandit snoring. He makes the funniest noises when he's sleeping.
Cheers

Dunno what I'd do without a dog.
Yes I do. It will be when I do a National Parks tour. Hope it's not for a while.

We don't go where our furry friends can't go, they make no mess compared to the humans that go to animal free zones.

Nothing like finding a couple of bush roses is there Dot.
Even on Cape York 20 odd years ago, you had to be careful where you stepped. It hasn't got any better.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Yes David it has gotten worse, I have had to throw a few pairs of shoes out throughout the years because of those dam bush roses. Managed to get 2 bales of pea straw down today so that is one side of the house garden finished. Next doof rang and asked if we would like to put any stuff in with their garage sale over this weekend? That is music to G's ears
so that is him out of the way for the weekend
Some more beaut days coming up. Yesterday when I was using the pressure cleaner something flicked into my eye, by the end of the day that eye went blurry so it was hunt time, found a rather large bit of something hidden right up to the left of the eye lid. Steady hands with a cotton bud managed to get it out but I think there is more hiding there somewhere. Time for Brians check up tomorrow for his sneezing and yucky ears once again. (free) Heading to the shower so stay safe and goodnight everyone x
Goodnight jd x

Dottie, Jon_d, David,
With you all the way…
Dogs before NPs!
Dottie, I had a similar problem when I got some sawdust in my eye. One stubborn particle was lodged right in the top corner under my eyelid. Took Son-&-Heir’s expertise and first aid kit to get it out.
Re: bush roses
Fortunately I wear waterproof runners when walking… any bush roses are easily hosed off.
In other news…
The Murray at Corowa rose half a metre overnight. Council chambers are isolated — parking area under half a metre of floodwaters. Children’s playground submerged. Football oval is a lake. Water is about 30mm below the gutters on the riverside picnic shelters.
Road access Corowa to Wahgunyah is about 300mm away from being cut off.
As we are 10km south of the Murray, we don’t have such problems… yet.
However, the flood peak is travelling slowly downstream… be prepared, Riverlander! 🫢
