Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

"tanks" here--
I have returned to Dysart after a very painful trip to Emerald Hospital for a C. T. Scan of my lumber/sacro vertebrae following some damage that I have done. Every bump on the road for the 165km trip to Emerald, and again on the return trip to Dysart caused scream-out pain. The girls were happy to see me after my absence of several hours, and more so when I provided a feed of chicken thighs for them.
The benefit of the trip was to have a foot-long Seafood Subway. I devoured six inches of it in the Hospital Carpark and saved six inches for a light snack when I returned home.
I am unable to lie in bed to sleep due to the pain. My lower right leg goes numb, and I get pins and needles in my right foot, so
I sleep sitting up in a chair for about an hour at a time. The girls are really good and keep me company. I have to be restricted on what pain medication I can take due to the advanced emphysema and C.O.P.D. condition that effects my breathing and blood/oxy levels and makes life rather uncomfortable in general. Sorry Terry, the gel is not working this time.
Getting old (read older) is a trial in life but most of the time everything is enjoyable. Cup-of-tea time so good night/morning all.
Keith.

I don't know, some people will do anything or go anywhere for 6''   Another beautiful day of 25 degs I have once again worn myself out, Took Brian to the vet to get his sneezing, raspy throat looked at and & his goopy ears, back on AB's for a week but otherwise nothing too bad . = $40 for AB's and that's all. Then I got stuck into the garden again, more pea straw around one side of the house and also picked up 3 bags of stewed pig poo ready for the pine bark chips (no fish though) I hate those big wattle birds, we have 2 nests of spoggies in the little shed and the other day I put an old fly screen under the pipe that one family was nesting in so the baby had a better take off area, I saw the wattle bird chasing the parent spoggie into the shed and then I found the baby with nearly all it's feathers dead and on the floor. :( so I buried the little one under the new rose.Hope everyone is safe and sound and the sickies are on the mend. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Chuck x :D

People carry on about cats killing birds but do they think how many other birds kill birds? The crow, eagle, hawk, wattle bird. and others? NO they don't easier to blame the cats. I am totally buggered tonight, I spent 6 solid hrs using the pressure cleaner on the pavers, and stuff that needed a clean, 3/4 outside of the house, bird baths and outside tables etc. For those that remember Gregg & Dee that went to Bowen to caretake some village I had a good chat with them tonight and like us all they have had their health issues but are happy up there. Going to be 27 deg tomorrow woopee but just for a couple of days then back to rain? Thursday. Hope everyone is being as good as they can be, keep safe and dry and all of our sickies are getting better. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Leslie & Erich xx :D :D
