Nagambie

Post by wayno »

Hi all,
I have settled into Nagambie, great place and well above flood levels.
Sorting out some of life's difficulties has taken time, but I got there.
Never been in a better place than here and now in time.
I have not been active for quiet sometime, I guess there is only so much screen time available with the priorities that stack up.

The dandruff floating over my screen is a bit of a bummer, finding the mouse is difficult.

Talk again soon folks,

Wayno ;)
Enjoying living in Central Victoria.

As far as away from dirty Dan as possible. ;)

Hi Wayno, nice to see you back again and to hear you are finally settled and happy. Bruce put up a "how to get rid of the snow" if you wanted to but I can't find it right now, no doubt he will pop in and let you know.

This may help---
[color=#0000BFf anyone doesn't like the lights (Bill?) you can navigate to your User Control Panel & then Board Preferences & turn off functions just for yourself in there!

This might be a shortcut?

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

If you are having trouble decoding Keith's advice, try this post viewtopic.php?p=136292#p136292 or just go here ucp.php?i=601 from this menu you can turn off what ever bits you don't like ....

Great to hear you are settled and above the flood line. I must admit I had to use Google maps to find where Nagambie was, then add somewhere I knew, Taggerty, to get an idea just where in the state that was

Hi Dot,
I should have done this years ago.
However, without the hard yards, I would not be in a position to enjoy a very nice retirement.

Hey T1,
Great place here at Nagambie, took some months to find it, so glad I did.
My abode is within a Lifestyle Village, have a very nice 2bdm Unit that I just love to live in.
Prior to that I had a lot of thinking to do and a lot of decisions to make.
I will elaborate when we can enjoy a face to face in the near future.

Thanks Keith,
I will try all suggestions out and let you know what works.

Start planning to visit Nagambie.

Hey Wayno, when making friends with some of the older residents ask if they knew David Saunders, he was some type of engineer (I think) on the Nagambie council years ago. He would be in his 70's & his wife was Wanda.

Great to hear that life has settled into an acceptable routine Wayne. We are on our way to Victoria for Xmas. We might be able to catch up along the way. We love our lifestyle village life.
Cheers

Taggerty isn't that far from Nagambie, maybe we can twist Jon D's arm into making an extra space at the next get together ..... how are your open fire cooking skills? Jon D won last yrs men's cooking comp so he shouldn't feel threatened now

Ok Dot, I'll will enquire about him and Wanda. Geezus, my mid 60's means the 70's will beset me sooner than later. What a joy to look forward to?
I will let you know what I discover. Will it be safe for me to disclose you and I have an association? :?
Just wondering.
