Re: Good morning daily
Speaking of water and trains, Ros and Ivan were to do the Adelaide - Perth train trip this week but they were informed the train would be going so far then they would be put on bus's That was a couple of days ago so heaven knows the situation now. This will be the 3rd attempt to do this trip and it was to be the top class. Can't cancel again because they have booked and paid for other events and refund = 0.

Re: Good morning daily
We had a similar issue when we booked the Indian Pacific, Sydney to Perth and coordinate that with the wildflower season, way back in 2019, for 2020 travel. We finally managed to travel Perth to Sydney in October this year.
I think the company that runs those trains needs to have a real hard look at its policies and procedures. For most of the people that make those journey's, it is supposed to be a trip of a lifetime.

Well one more sleep, but what a day it has been, so time to fill you all in on our next adventure and what an adventure it is already. As some of you know Kiara wanted us to tick off a few things on our bucket list, we have done three, a trip to Fiji, the Ghan Train Trip to Darwin and the Horizontal Falls in WA and our final one was the Indian Pacific Train trip Sydney to Perth. Well due to Covid it was cancelled in both 2020 & 2021so we had it booked for this year leaving on the 16th (Wed) from Sydney.. Plan was to fly to Sydney tomorrow spend a night in Sydney before boarding the train and enjoying the venture to Perth, well over the weekend due to flooding in NSW we were told that the train was being diverted through Victoria and included a bus ride to pick up the train at Goulburn as that is as close it could get to Sydney, OK disappointed,
but got over that, but as you have most likely heard there was a train derailment today near Geelong on the track that our train was to take on Wednesday .
So have been waiting all day to see if we go or not, so NOT HAPPY JAN .... Finally got word late this afternoon, we fly to Sydney tomorrow as planned, then on Wednesday we get a limo ride to the Sydney Airport and being put on a chartered fight to Adelaide to board the Indian Pacific there, not quite what we had planned and to say we are more than disappointed would be an understatement, but better than having it cancelled. To late to change our plans in Perth, it is what it is and we will make the most of it. So stay turned for our adventure, sure turning out to be an interesting one. Now to finish the packing and try to get some sleep . Let the adventure begin tomorrow.

Morning all.
Dreaming of a 34* day.
Cold, wet and talk of snow in the hills.
Waiting for my bits and pieces from the US to arrive. Found a great Isuzu parts supplier put of the US.
Very very helpful if anyone needs anything. Esp hard to find old stuff.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. Its a bright sunny morning here, but very cold if you are out in the wind. We spent most of yesty digging little sumps around the yard her and syphoning water into the drain. Twas wet and cold and not much fun. Seems to have worked though. Will know later on when we try to drive out.
Safe travels everybody.

Good morning.
Uneventful day yesterday, just trip tp Childers and back.
Turned aircon on when we returned
No furry critters on my walk, creeks are still flowing.
Keep safe.
