Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dida bit more in the garden this arvo but still more to do ready for summer's heat. Off to Physio tomorrow. Ouch but she loves me. Hope all the sickies are feeling better. Seems like the water has just about divided the states with road washouts now Covid back will we ever get anywhere? Watched Viceland and the show "Time to die" really interesting indeed, we had a friend that was a member, and she did "it" her way. Book worth the read if you can get it "the peaceful Pill" Another interesting show is ABC Planet America, even though I don't understand most of it ! Time for bed now so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight BernieQ x

Wish we could make it to Mannum…
Unfortunately the new rig didn’t come with water wings … or a snorkel. 😢
(Who remembers water wings? Not the youngsters! They don’t even know how to use a rotary-dial phone!)

Probably would need one of those WW11 bridge-laying tanks to get across the potholes, too! 😳

When this weather event that we are having moves on, the road repair crews are going to be busy, busy bears for a very long time. I see that they are remaking complete sections of the Newell Hwy already.

Another sort of bust day in the garden, just a small area to do now but tomorrow is haircut day and the car is getting serviced 20k. Strangely they say a pollen filter is in the service?? might have a look of it to be sure to be sure. Not going back to the Kia mob either, as long as the new people use genuine Kia parts and the invoice details all that is done is up to Kia's recommendations. I also take my own rags, not paying for theirs when I have lots (cotton of course) Tonight I had a few sips of Baileys because the gut man lowered the new drug he got me to try so I can have a tipple. :D No eggs from Norman and his daughter so the thing is keep the floor free of any nest building material. Hope everyone on the sickie list are improving, stay away from water over the roads, Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Deborah x :D

Dot, that garden seems to keep you busy. The birds are back to behaving, that's good. xxxx'

Thanks everyone for the kind wishes. I am just dropping in to give you a quick update.
His nibs has had some slow days and some good days. Today was a good day, so it feels good all round. As he has had two large anesthetics in a month, he is still getting over them as well as the actual surgeries.
Our kids are pushing for us to continue our usual Christmas trip with them to Forster, but we cannot give any straight answers until we get some more positive test results and permission to drive is granted. Both kids have suggested ways that they could find to get us there if he can't drag the van, but it is just one thing too many at the moment.
The caravan park has been demanding that the full price of the stay is paid for exactly one month before arrival. They also state that any money paid, is non refundable for Christmas holidays. I have some reservations about this. How can it even be legal? This is a very busy park and any sites that come vacant are filled in an instant. So in effect they would be getting two lots of site fees for the same site. Anyway, I phoned the park today and explained carefully, why I am not prepared to pay until we get a clearance. They were quite understanding and have marked our file as not to make any demands and I will be in contact with them when we have some good news, or otherwise. So that was a positive outcome.

Promise to return when there is something to share.

night all xxx
Deborah

Thanks for the more positive report on the ol fella. Things progressing slowly but surely. Maybe give a big Xmas a miss this year if still not to flash /tired there is always next year. We never celebrated Xmas, New year was our special time as a new year meant a new beginning. Whatever you decide to do have a happy and healthy time but don't overdo things. Today G and I had our 6 weekly haircuts, as usual I looked like the hairy mammoth and G looked more like well I shall not say but maybe a "cut and polish" would be more appropriate. I got the hairdresser to do a shorter cut than last time, back to being a dyke again. Had the car serviced 20k went to the auto masters mob, they were over $100 cheaper than the Kia dealer and they used gen parts. Why does a pollen filter have to be changed every year beats me, he said Kia and ford do that. Our Suzuki GV only had a pollen filter changed when needed. I am going to give the old filter a good blow out and keep it for another day. Q/ does anyone know what the weight is for a female to lift? Is 25lits of sand be too heavy? Has some rain today but nothing to bad. A long warm bath is now in order so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Chuck x :D

Dottie,
If you can lift it, it’s within the limit.
If you can’t lift it, it’s over the limit.

Simples! 😁
