Katoomba

Post by Swisslulu »

Bloody freezing here and I will not be returning! However, the upside was a catch-up with Chuck and Catriona who journeyed up from Penrith to meet us for lunch. We first met the CCs, as Macca (Kay) refers to them, back in 2012 at the CF gathering in Kerang. Our first caravan adventure. This is also where we first met Dot and George, Wayno, T1 and Margaret, Lance and Annee, Kay and Bruce, and many others who have become friends, albeit, distanced.

We last caught up with the CCs in March 2018 at Lake Wallace on our journey home from Tassie.

For those who don’t know us - Catriona on the left, then me, Erich and Chuck.

Absolutely! But the company was better! Great friends. When we first met them in 2012, we had no idea that they were great friends of our best friends in Brisbane. Turned out that our besties knew them from when they married. Our friend’s father had given Catriona away at their wedding. So a long term association.
