Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning 17c, we still have a breeze from the west which is predicted to increase, no rain & a maximum of 25c, sunny blue sky looks good.

Hope everyone receives favourable reports from their Dr., consultations.

We are off to Newcastle today, found a bootmaker to repair my sandals, they are few & far between in our area, shoes are mostly throw away these days, another dying trade in Australia.

Stay safe everybody, watch out for pot holes.
We have been advised to get the shots for the various diseases the mozzies spread, including this latest Japanese Encephalitis https://www.health.gov.au/health-alerts ... v/vaccines so we will have to find out where and when we can get those. The mozzies are only a problem just after it rains around here at the moment, the wind plays havoc with them as do the hot days, but no doubt as the river level starts to drop they are going to be a real problem.

T1, find a GP or Chemist that does the shots and put your name on the list. There is a shortage of vaccine up here in the Murray Valley area. The olds have been on the list for a month or so already.

Albury-Wodonga Health ran a free day of Japanese Encephalitis vaccinations in Rutherglen t’other day.
We both got our shots.
Unfortunately, because I am immunocompromised, I had to get the ‘killed virus’ version, which is a two-stage thing. Have to get the second shot 7~28 days after No. 1.
Fortunately AWH is running free clinics in Chiltern & Wangaratta during that period. 😁
Regards & God bless,
Ray

We have been told NOT to just go off and get the Japanese bug jab before you speak to your GP. Some people do not know there are 2 types of jabs , there have been a couple of incidents where chemists have not taken the appropriate steps to make sure people got the correct type.

Good morning everyone. That's good information Dot and Ray. We might see 21°today if we are lucky, but at least it isn't supposed to rain. The river level has gone down a bit more but the mozzie's are getting worse than before. Terrie's mum and dad both have good medical results so we will pack up and head off soon. Had a sobering phone call yesty arvo. One of the old workmates passed away. He wasn't much older than me.
Safe travels everybody, enjoy your day.
Cheers

Morning all.

Looking forward to today.

Back in the bus for 4 days to play golf with some mates. Hopefully the repairs after the Nullarbor trip are ok, and the bad(?) fuel is worked out of the system.
