Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Have you thought of using a star picket up the top with a long rope-&-pulley system? 🤔😀
The get me, Margaret or the lawn mower up there. It is a flat area about the size of the house ... I believe it is the top of the gravel pit the house grey and black water get pumped into, but quite solid, there were trucks driving across it at one stage carting dirt either to or from the block a few houses up from us.
The problem is the slot to get up there after skirting around the water tanks, is mountain goat stuff in dirt that isn't much more than sand and gravel. I guess I'll have to cement big pavers into the hill to make it sort of walkable ..... might need a beer fridge at the top to keep a few cool ones for after the big climb

Very Happy update, the old brigade won 29-20, we were holding on the second last end, didn't play last end, opposition couldn't of won, 75, 83,81, 70 played 63,32, 60, 50 ages of the team members, Ben the 32 year old started playing bowls when he was 11 years old, I'd never met him before, play next round in a fortnight.

Pleased you've made it back to the bunker Tanks, take it easy & get better, I'm sure that you'll find another companion dog looking for an awesome home with you soon.

Travel safely David & Terrie, where do you stay at Coffs?

I'm glad that the oldies all bowled well Shirley. You have obviously got your new bowls sorted.
We didn't make it to Coffs Harbour. We finished up in an old van park in Port Macquarie. Everything is a bit dated, but it's clean and tidy, and not far from the beach.
Cheers

Morning everyone.
Stepped outside my nuffin duties yesterday...I've been digging holes for the shed 400x400x600...and loving it...not. :D only have 12 to do...easy-peasy
Plus fixed the roller door on the other shed...with the help of a beer or two plus my next door :)
And bonus day....bacon and eggs coming up.
You should have a visit to Shirley Dave.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

"tanks" here---
Good morning everyone. Dysart temp is 21c at the moment. I managed a good sleep for a few hours, and now waiting for the lawnmowing team later today, then for tomorrow to come along.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Good morning everyone. Couldn't login this morning. Internet is a bit slow at Pt Macquarie, it seems. Was OK through the night. Did nuffin after we got setup here.
Except drink too much, apparently. Going to Wauchope for a squizz today.
Safe travels, and have a great Sunday everybody.
Cheers

Good morning 24c, 29c is predicted for today, not many out on the lake yet, few cruisers have stayed the night over yonder on the foreshore.

Bernie, David is at Port Macquarie a little further north than Lake Macquarie, sure you only had bacon & eggs for brekie

I might mow some of our lawn before it gets to hot, they collect our green bin on Tuesday.
