That is good news Jon. Same thing happened to an old workmates Dad. Took a while but he got back on track. He's sharp as a tack again now.
Cheers

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Jd that is good news for sure, see love conquers all.
Deborah that yellow bit amongst the green looks like a fighting fish (on it's side) good work girl.
I picked Brian up and wrapped him in a towel for the short trip to the vets for his worming pill and no sooner had I sat down I felt the recognizable feeling of a previous time, yes the naughty boy had peed on me. Too late to change so continued to vets and as usual Brian had the face of an innocent angel for the nice lady Next time he is going to be put in a plastic bag UP TO HIS NECK (for Bernie's info) and he can pee all he wants.
Time for bed e buys now so Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Swisslulu x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, Brian is lucky to have you so you don't deserve the extra damp spot. I would sit him a towel, in one of those waterproofed beach bags, if he did that in my car. xxxx
Jon, your family news is very good. Hope they all stay nice and settled now and no more horror stories for you.
Ray, I dunno what's with the photo thingy, at least you can sort of figure out what you are seeing
Today we had an appointment with the first surgeon, the man who did the big operation. He was very different today and it was a very short time. He was not happy with the treatment that his nibs received from the second lady, who he sent us to because he wanted to holiday in Antarctica. Thank God that he went on holidays. He told us that he would not have asked for the treatment and would have just done another big operation to clean out the rest of the bruising. He was so intent on bad mouthing the lady, that I was upset. Anyway, the good news is that his nibs can now return to driving.
He will have a ct scan just before Christmas and a phone consult a couple of days after. The man doesn't know that we will be returning to see the lady surgeon in January and that we will be reporting back to our GP who sent us to the first man. Don't think that he will be referring people to the man again.
After all that, we went to our favourite pub for lunch. They have changed the menu and not to our liking, so we had a lovely seafood plate at Swansea RSL instead. So much yummy food that we only ate a piece of toast for dinner.

Try singing to Brian to make him feel more comfortable being wrapped in a towel.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

I'd like to see that.... maybe George while driving can coordinate a youtube video as young Dot is singing lullabies to Brian.Try singing to Brian to make him feel more comfortable being wrapped in a towel.
"Now, Dorothy, you're just a little off key and Brian seems to be comfortable."
George, just drive.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Hi George, was wondering where and what you have been up to, looking forward to the pics. Guess you have seen the floods over here?.
Brian has just started doing the pee thing, no infection. I had always wrapped him in a towel to go to the vets and he was OK, This time I had him wrapped in the towel plus a plastic bag under him but he must of started to pee before we got in the car that's how it got on me. I believe it is my prev X paying me back, When I was 14 I got a kitten desexed and on the way home it peed on him and of course I laughed.
Today I started the pack stuff up I want to keep, other stuff for a charity and other stuff for Op shop then bin stuff. After I sorted the towels, I had left 34 new towels left. OMG talk about a hoarder, but I can't resist nice linen. So far 9 big rubbish bags full of linen is off to the charity and still more stuff to go like crockery pots and pans. They will love me. Will take the two cars and the trailer full of stuff we want to keep but when the HOT weather has passed.? Sunday. Sent the letter (registered) to the crook of a roof man so now we await his response. Deborah always ask around for specialists etc they are known for giving "kick backs" to GP.'s for referrals to them. Stick to the person that treats you with respect and never be afraid to tell them to bugger off , they are working for you. Some think their crap don't stink. Time to hit the sack. Keep cool you lot up North. Goodnight, everyone x

George.
There is an unforgettable walk along a river/ riverine somewhere in the fort William; Ben Nevis area.
If you can. It's well worth it.
