Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Enjoy Scotland Julie & George, my g'father was born in Glasgow, unfortunately he was killed in WW1, aged 36, Bruce's g'parents on his father's side migrated from Scotland as free settlers, one country I would like to visit, we have a friend that lives in Wick, he was flown home to Scotland by the government after cyclone Tracy, we met him when we lived in Cairns, he has never returned to Australia.

Stinker of a day, just starting to cool down a bit now 11 30 pm. Supposedly cooler tomorrow and maybe rain, we'll see. I can't believe I watched some of "the mummy" Did some more sorting out today and the op shops and charity are going to hate me. Some stuff I really don't want to get rid off but no use keeping stuff, but I shall keep the memories. Just have a look around your houseand see how much stuff you actually do have that you don't use at all, it is astonishing. Having visitors tomorrow so scones have been ordered. Hope everyone is keeping dry, cool and away from people. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight NC George x :D

Scones would be lovely Dot. Yep some docs are definitely not the best to deal with. We knew that the Man surgeon was a friend of our GP. They went to uni together for some subjects and the first guy had been head of Neurology in John Hunter hosp, so we assumed he would be the goods. He is just too set in his ways and not prepared to accept there are newer ways to treat things now. He demanded his nibs has another ctscan on 19th December and will have a phone consult with him on the Wednesday. Probably would not have bothered to agree, but we both want to know about the progress of the second lady surgeon's work. xxxx

George, your pics are lovely. Hope you and Julie are having a wonderful time.

Yesterday I had to have some stitches removed. The skin specialist had removed a lump 10 days ago, boy she left a big hole and 14 stitches. The pathology says it is just a common cyst, so no drama and it's all gone now. As it was close to food time, we had lunch out. Yes, two days in a row! This time we ate at the Lake Munmorah Bowlo. Delicious food and reasonably priced. Did some quick shopping and came home exhausted.

Today I did more work on the tshirts. One pic has a "cleaned" shirt, just waiting for the final scrub to make the lines more defined and the other pic has a pile of glitter still drying on top of the wet glue. If I was happy to waste glitter, all the colours could be done at the same time and the lot just sprinkled onto the garden. I try to only do one colour per day, so that when the glue is close to dry, the shirt can have the glitter sprinkled onto a sheet of paper and returned to the bottle for another time.

Next will be Glasgow

For the last couple of weeks I have been quite unwellwith extremely sore throat, aches and pain in knees, thighs, shoulders. I spent two days in bed while in Edinburgh while Julie did some sightseeing with our daughter, Leonie

I performed two rapid antigen tests which came back negative. At this moment I have quite a sore throat

NC George sounds like the flu but don't take any chances and see a medical person. Thanks for the pics they are lovely. After our visitors left today we got back into the sorting of stuff to store at the block, G is taking the suzuki and the trailer and I am taking the Kia full of stuff, probably another trip on Tuesday as well. Tiring stuff alright. Keep sparkling away Deborah. Rather tired now so will say goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Peter & Sandra x :D

Stashing stuff away and sorting stuff for the op shops, sounds very tiring Dot. Remember to take it easy some times too mate xxxx

The glitter has almost been finished. I spent a lot of time today adding some extra details and colours. Now it will have to wait until later in the week, when it will get the final scrub with a nail brush. Never a dull moment in the lair.

I have been getting emails every twelve hours from the park at Forster, demanding money be paid asap. Bit different to the office ladies who assured me that they could wait until later this week. Finally I caved in and sent the money through bank transfer. We decided that we are definitely going to get to Forster and nothing will stop us now...La Ninya might be the only reason to stay home now. My phone forecast says it will be sunny until the 22nd which has a 40% chance of rain. I think we can handle those odds. ;)

Not much else happening in the lair,
