Sorry Ray, I expected that you had already looked for a cover but I thought I would mention it anyway. I also had a problem with a hairline crack around the drain in the bath as Peter has described. I made a stainless washer and shaped it to fit around the drain recess.

I then used sikaflex to seal it. The crack was caused by a lack of support under the bath/shower base. I cut an opening into the panel that surrounds the bath / shower base (vent on right). I used a stanley knife to do this. But first I purchased a vent from Bunnings and cut the opening to suit. I then put a bit of weight into the bath by filling the bath/shower base with water (when sikaflex around drain was dry) then I reached into the opening I had cut and filled the underneath area with expanding foam to support the shower base. I don't think that your problem is the drain but here is a pic of the vent I cut into the base. It maybe helpfull. Is that the style of shower base in your MH?

edit, I see you have posted prior to my post. Is it possible to cut an opening behind the taps?

Craig,
Thanks for the info.
Leak now fixed.
Your Alpine has a concertina door where our Explorer has a shelf unit & boxed pivot for our fold-down bed.
Access is thus VERY difficult.
However, I see you came up with the same solution Brian ("Homeless") did for us: a vent to hide where he cut an exploratory hole.!
Brian & John ("Recycled Teenager") spent several hours over 2 days at Muck++++, where we are now, fixing what turned out to be THREE leaks in the same pipe (hot water); the third showing up after the other two were fixed. The primary leak was in the adaptor from the tap to the John Guest fitting: overtightened & split. Same with the second leak at the T-piece. Third leak was a JG fitting not properly seated through the O-ring.
Some evidence that there had been problems prior to our purchase of Girt, as access panel (glued in place) had been bashed off, damaging underside, and plier-marks on pipes.
A big thanks to all who made suggestions here, and REALLY BIG THANKS to Brian & John for squirming about in a most awkward & confined space to fix something my body will no longer allow me to get to!
