Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Fantastic pics George thank you. Where will you be for Xmas? Did another trip to the block today, sort more stuff out tomorrow and take that on Sunday. The rest days in between trips is the go. When I got home this arvo I set to and got the lawn and shrubs watered., Woo hoo my mini beans were ready to be picked so on the first pick there is enough for about 4 meals, then the remaining cherry tree gave up about 2 dozen cherries, then the boysenberries had roughly 18 berries, (berries added to the prev lots that are in the freezer for ? pav or trifle for Xmas.) Hope everyone is keeping well, stay away from water if you can. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Ray x :D

Dot, have you started to grow a forest of fruit bearing trees at the block? I reckon you will need many varieties to keep up the style to which you have become accustomed. xxxx

George, the pics are lovely but don't think you have the being the cold, all to yourself. Today the weather was no more than 17degrees all day and the wind is from the South Pole. Not quite snowing, or minus degrees, but back in winter clothes, all the same. Don't think we will be going to the beach for Christmas.

This week has been a disaster week. His stupid nibs, managed to fall off the bottom rung of a ladder. He knew he was being dangerous, so he had his bike helmet on....premeditated disaster? Anyway, yesterday he woke up feeling light headed, so we spent 10 hours at John Hunter Hospital. He had a fresh CTScan and then we waited many hours for a neuro person to be free to come and interpret the results to us. The scan showed that his bruising is significantly smaller than it was three weeks, so no real damage. It has made him lose his confidence to tow the van in peak traffic season. So our Christmas , as such, has been cancelled. he wants to stay closer to the hospital for a couple more weeks.

The weather man has changed the whole map for Forster. Last week it said a warm Christmas, today, it says rain every day that we planned to be there. Probably not so bad that we won't be going, the home air con is definitely quieter than the one in the van. Our daughter and her family, has decided to stay at home with us and has offered to help with the work. They usually stay on our site, in their tent and use our van as a home base for cooking, fridge and hiding valuables at night. I suspect that we may get out of this in a warm and dry house.

Pissed off? Not quite, I half expected something would creep up and stop the trip. Disappointed? very. Will make the best of it anyway.

night all xxx
Deborah

Hello from Dundee, Scotland. Dot, we will spend Christmas in Harrogate, Yorkshire with our daughter Leonie and future SIL Dylan in a 2 bedroom cottage that we have rented for 5 nights.

While in Inverness we took a tour around Loch Ness in a 16 seat bus with just another 2 passengers. Below are photos of same.

Great photos. Super jealous.

But, who is the bloke in long pants and a big woollie jumper? Sort of looks like George but can't be.

George those pics are beautiful. Did nothing today apart from sort a few things out to keep, op shop, and give away to abc .Another trip to the block coming up I guess next week. Exhausting. Deborah I hope you read your other half off well and truly for being naughty climbing ladders is not smart. Glad his CT showed an improvement with the bleed but if he keeps being naughty he may well start it off again. Are you able to drive with the van on? Another one of our forum members had a nasty incident and he also was scared to tow for a while but eventually he got back into it, Shirley a bit of a sad time for your club lately , guess this happens when we are this age and in clubs with people the same age and with health issues. Just be glad it wasn't you. Off to bed now so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Shirley x :D
