Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Every time I had x rays and later cat scans on my left arm, they would point out the black bits and the white bit where it shouldn't be. For the last 45 yrs I've had lumps appear down that section of my forearm, they turn into infected looking bit and when they get close enough to the surface I pluck them out with a pair of tweezers or slice the larger ones with a razor blade to get the lump of gravel out. All still in there from the motorbike accident in my early 20's, the white bit is the bone that was originally the tip of my elbow, when I bump that bit I really know about it, belting the funny bone on steroids type pain and I loose all feeling and use of my left arm for a while .... but, no amputation and I got the use of my arm back, so I'm happy to put up with the small inconveniences 8-)

When I was in Concord repat hospital for 6 months after Vietnam it was amazing how many WW2 guys were there to get shrapnel removed that they never knew they had, started moving after nearly 20 years ! For several years after discharge would brush skin and hit another piece on the way out.

Probably only one left now, it is in the middle of a lumber vertebrae, wrapped aroung my spinal cord, hoping that one does not move !

"tanks" here---
It is past 05:00am and there is nobody around. I am lonely so someone please say something.
It's too early for Dot to be out of bed at this hour. The outside temp at Dysart Qld is 20c and looks like being a nice day to read a book.

Bin day? What a circus that is here!!
Please be standing on your back deck with your garbage bag at 1PM or shortly after. As the boat comes to pick it up please assist by passing it to one of the persons in the boat.
Did the toot run into the new dump point in town now to empty my "orange juice".

Take notice all you lovely people that still have wheels..... New dump point on the Adelaide side of the river in Mannum is located at the football oval / show grounds / cricket ground. Potable water available near by for topping up tanks .... not to connect to RV unit for any length of time. No power to 'normal' RV's but has been supplied to those refugees from the floods. (free)

Good morning everyone. Another nice sunny day ahead for us. I hope it isnt as windy as yesty though. Achieved absolutely nuffin, except walking the dog's. Might need to get the mower out today.
Bruce, I bet some of marina dwellers are glad that somebody thought about rubbish. What's the plan for those with black water holding tanks?
Have a great day everybody, safe travels.
Cheers

David most houseboats can hold about a fortnight's black/grey water so they can get out on the River in normal times.
That can be easily extended by double or more by having spongebaths, using hand washing of dishes rather than dishwasher, many have bought those $49 portaloo's from Anaconda and take to the dump point on trips ashore.
Everytime I want hot water I catch the water in a bucket until it starts to get hot & throw that overboard.
Surprising how you can change your ways.
We got told EPA were going to be checking but I suspect it was a dream. Every boat has a dif system & it would be impossible to check anyway.
