Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

"tanks" here--- George,
Those penguins at Dundee look frozen stiff.
It must be cold over there, so wear a beanie and have a nice warm scarf around your neck.
The outside temp at Dysart Qld is only 22c at 06:00am today and expected to reach the low 30's when the sun comes out.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Dot, please use that disabled parking permit as often as you can. You deserve to have some help to getting into the craziness of shopping centres these days. I have seen way too many clearly able bodied young people using disabled parking spots, I have to figure if they are very mentally disabled or not. Sounds like you are on a treasure hunt not just clearing out stuff. xxxx

Today the daughter and family arrived. I have been busy in the kitchen ever since. As dinner was almost ready, she came in and told me that she was meant to be doing the cooking...pigs are still flying. I don't really get how difficult it is to realise that the food needs to be prepared for all to eat, or to look down at the kitchen floor and find the broom to clear up the mess her kid has just made . Oh well it's Christmas and freeloaders.

nighty night xxx

How does one get a lounge suite into a cupboard? Although, when you think about it, it would make it more comfortable before coming out.

At least you could relax in a bit of comfort when you go back into the closet.

jd haven't you heard of Lego :?:  What are you and Phoenix doing for Christmas, I hope you contribute to the picture for the day. Deborah I certainly will use the disabled ticket when I need to, I also have seen rat bags using those parking spots I have done my "nice" thing for the year. I made a trifle and even got the special milk and cream especially for T1 as he can't have ordinary milk & cream (picky picky) Oh Deborah too soft You go get the broom and hand it to who ever made the mess. Well it is nearing bed time so Take care everyone, enjoy tomorrow and be safe. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Tanks x :D PS. Thanks for those lovely pics NC George the architecture is amazing, love it.

Yes Dot, I am way too soft. You and George have a wonderful Christmas xxxx

Today our son rang to tell us that his plans have changed. They started out with the van hitched up to his new (to him) landcruiser, wife with boat behind her car and son and daughter in sons car, all to get the Forster. They didn't get very far as the landcruiser decided that it was not going anywhere. He has had all sorts of mechanics, know alls and spurts try to fix it, but the only agreed fact, is that the computer has a fault and nobody can make any sense of it. Now son has had to cancel his site as well as us doing the same last week. Because, today is the day that he was meant to arrive, the park said, tough, you forfeit all of the full price that you have already paid. Son was quick to suggest that the idea was not satisfactory, so he would onsell his site on gumtree, to get his money back and he would only take bidders from the worst boguns that he could find. Surprisingly, the park then offered to give him credit for all that he has paid, less $50 admin fee. He took that. Smart man our son.

That changed all plans for the lair. They are suddenly planning to stay here a couple of nights or more. This inn has not a lot of space to spare. Luckily a couple of them are very happy to sleep in their swags (weather permitting etc) so we can wrangle enough bed space and if all fails, I will happily sleep in the caravan. The power has been turned on to the van and fridge is cooling, so we will have enough fridge space and they will bring some food with them. I expect them all to be eating left overs and whatever they can forage from the freezer. I am going on a go-slow.

NIght from the lair and merry Christmas to all and to all a good night xxx

Dot, still celebrating? Have a goodun xxxx

George those pics look lovely, especially with the fresh snow falling, oops that's the Christmas effects thing, not really snowing in pommy land after all. xxx

After the whole family descended upon us, we have had and amazing day. They are still, all on speaking terms and that takes a lot with our family.
It was so hot the younger ones had time for a paddle board before lunch and we all flopped after a long lunch in the heat.

night all xxx
