Ummm...... Every Kombi from the early '50 split window onwards have the door as part of the wheel arch.
I reckon it's a concept vehicle at a motorshow ..... guess loooking up the article on car advice would answer it one way or the other

My Monday post was pretty close to the mark!
Doors have no handles, but I was right about being powered. Sensors in the accent stripe, which is actually a groove, activate the doors.
I was right about the mirrors being replaced with cameras.
Cool Kombi EV!! The SUV is a ripper, as is the Golf/Beetle replacement. And all three are ready for autonomous driving!
I’d happily have any of the vehicles on the video... I just need to convince Santa. :D

That is a real classic motor caravan if ever I saw one  '74 kombi single cab and a classic caravan style body on the back. Check out the over hang and think about what working on the motor would be like :o not putting my hand up to change the plugs on that one  .... but how good would it be to upgrade it to electric ..... zero maintenance on the motor and all that body to provide regen braking, rather than the cloud of smoke coming off the front discs and back drums .....

In some states a motorhome is referred to as a motor caravan, this one at least fits the description
