Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Bernie what is your sale price for the MH? Have you listed it anywhere for sale?

Attended the bowling clinic again last evening, my mate & I find it very beneficial & enjoy going but unfortunately there were only 6 bowlers in attendance, one wonders if the coach will continue with it.
Maybe it's a sign of success and the others that attended previously have now been cured ;)

Forecast of 31* later in the day so just as well the mowing is done. I purchased another 7 frozen meals yesterday and will need to purchase another 14 before Julie gets home. :)

So it wasn't just a case of getting the lawn mower going, it then required a willing operator ;)
Be careful with those frozen meals, they may cool you down initially, but they'll give you stomach cramps afterwards .....

When I was a kid, Paddle Pops were my kind of frozen meal. Now that I'm mature, Paddle Pops are still ..... ;)

Morning folks Australia v South Africa on I think this is our last game before the finals went into the van and cleaned out the food cupboards. Too hot in them for a bit of the food so bought that stuff inside and will replace when we are ready to go.

Temperature heading to 30/40c for the next week. Very little done outside for the week.

Nothing else planed so stay cool cheers Robert.

Both Dave. Good morning All, 21* and cloudy, 27* forecast. I may take some photos of the bus (int and ext) in preparation for a valuation prior to obtaining a quote from another insurance co.

It was a hot one yesterday in the shed and today looks like being even hotter, but the boss said we had to work, so here we are
Paddled out in the row boat out yesterday evening to dig the pump foot valve out of the mud, couldn't find the float anywhere so that explains what happened there, dragged to pipe across till the rope reached the end of the jetty, that was just breaking the waves yesterday but two pallets length out of the water this morning, and used that to pull the boat from the pipe to the jetty and back, getting it clear of trees that weren't there pre flood, till I managed to get the foot valve close enough to tie it up on one of the legs of the jetty to stop it sinking into the mud again. Actually got the pump to transfer water up to the top tank by the time the sun went down, so a successful venture. No doubt the foot valve height will need to be adjusted this afternoon to compensate for the rapid water level drop. Must have been all those holes I dumped in there a few weeks back, they've finally floated out deeper and draining the river now .... I'll be in trouble later when the river dries up no doubt, but everyone is all smiles at the moment :D

Good arvo. Trying NC George with the air con on dehumidify. I do not like this hot sticky weather more than the freezing cold stuff.

 We are getting a bucket a day dripping out of the office air con because the outside drain can't cope with the water flow  Normally not a problem, but with all the water still being evaporated out from the areas that were under water a week ago, there is a lot of moisture in the air .... but nothing like it was at this time of year back in Lake Illawarra, not near as hot but the humidity  never realised just how bad it was until we went back for a visit a few Christmas back ..... but still not a mark on the Gold Coast when we visited the son at Christmas .... you just couldn't dry off after a shower unless you have good air conditioning ...... I just can't imagine what it would be like in the Darwin area in the wet season ......
