Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, I don't know how you find any energy to get back to cleaning out the bus. Way too hot for that sort of jobs. Take care and stay hydrated...like I need to remind you of that ! xxxx
Bloomin hot here too. Didn't have to look at the thermometre to know it's just too hot. I recognised that I am having a bit of a timing issue. I need some new works to be able to offer them to our jayco mates next weekend and we leave on Wednesday, so had to get back to the shed today. I created some weird n whacky bits of jewellery and re-designed some more of the flops that hadn't sold. IT was kinda good, getting back to doing jewellery, and with the air con doing it's thing it was good. Amazingly the old air con actually stayed on for the whole time that I was in the shed. I left the kiln firing up and the window and glass sliding door open, in the hope that the controller stays cool enough to get the job done.
Apart from that, nothing happened here either.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
No energy to do anything either in or out of the bus I did nothing. Off to physio tomorrow, picking up reports of tests done for physio to look at as she reckons the u/sound of G's elbow is wrong. Then off to a place over the other side of town to pick something up for a friend then back to have our 5th bug jab. Busy and tiring day I would say. Along with the expected heat, the birds fan will be on all day for them, Brian will be ok in the house it keeps cool until the late afternoon. So Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Chuck x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
I think we are still having similar weather to you Dot, so I understand the too hot feeling. You look like getting even hotter in the coming days while we are in for some stormy days. I am really sympathetic to your heat stress Dot. At least when it gets too cold you just add another warm layer of clothes. I think I would be sent to the lock up, if wearing my birthday suit in public.
That's just what this hot weather makes one want to do. xxxx
Today we started packing the van and clearing out some of the things that are not needed at the moment. Surprisingly, what had been a full bottle of hand sanitiser, was totally empty. There was no sign of any water leaks or damage, so have to assume that this one had evaporated. I had to deal with a couple of ants wandering around, but that's really minor for a van that has been locked up for so long. I only have to pack a few business things to take for selling to the mates and anything food related will get packed after lunchtime. We are only heading up the road for forty minutes to Belmont. This will be a good test to see if his nibs is really ready for a long time business trip as we have planed for March and April.

'Nite & morning Dot,
Last couple of days have been very warm in the LBM (Lower Blue Mountains), this morning at 0700 it was 17c with an expected wet maximum of 19c...not much, if anything, will get done today.
Keep smiling.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Whilst I do sympathize with your hot days I look at the temps here in Perth and think
Ehh !
Monday I had a job to lay some carpet floor tiles in a new Gym I've sorta been the project manager for.
So I took a coupla fans along as well as the tools for cutting the squares, set it up, and started work.
I had a few visits from some of the residents, as well as the Village Manager saying "it's HOT, leave it for today"
But being old and determined to finish the job (stupid ) I kept on going.
When a friend got back from Perth to give me a hand I was told it was 38 deg today
No wonder I was sweating a bit.
Now it's cooling down to Perth's average of mid 20's to 30's I feel a bit better
Then I think Dot, Bruce, and T1 are all going to get this in a day or 2 .................... Turn the A/C on !

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Left home at 1100 and got home at 1800. Bugger this hot weather, even worse today, expecting 41 so all doors and windows closed curtains drawn and the air on. Birds to have their fan on and Brian will be where ever he likes after his visit to the vets at high noon for his yearly jabs, worming treatment, cleaning of his ears and general check up. If he pees on me this time he will be having a catheter inserted next time. Nah I will be putting him in his usual crate with puppy liners in it. Sprinklers are still on as the grass was looking quite sad. I want to get a bird bath but one that runs on solar? any ideas ?? Time for bed now so Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Tanks x
. Stay well hydrated people. Deborah why not go public in your birthday suit just identify as a big baby.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
