Re: Good morning daily
Where does he live? No one really knew.
Busy road, Gates of Hell, moat out the back and parklands out the front. We’re looking for a castle. And a familiar sound to all. It was Thursday of course, and the garbage truck is making its way towards the Bridge of Time. George politely tries to wave to him and ask for directions. He was not interested while driving past the mob.
In the mirrors, Gary the garbo spies a familiar image. Could it be? The legendary Odin? Gary stops with a squeal and ssshh as the air releases and reverses back. Elbow out, looking down into his eyes. “Are you the legendary Tanks. The equal who protects us while unassumingly worships us and our machines”? “I am”. “We are looking for a place, a place that is a castle, a new castle. A place that will always have a full recycle bin, but an emption household waste bin. A place that only have red boxes in that bin….. Do you know of such?”
Gary paused. “We have such place. Not far from here. Recognised by an old chariot next to the castle and the sun shines brightly like no other on its roof.” Gary proceeded to give the directions.
Tanks hammers his staff into the hard ground three times and thanks Gary and his fellowship.
The mob head off.
Deborah has been baking glass. Some fractured DNA exists everywhere. The need to bake is there but not food. Is still gives the same pleasure as a tray full of hot scones. However, last night it was a series of melted bottles which sort of formed a lens. Similar to a lighthouse lens.
There is was. The castle. A guard house at the front and the towers out the back. Like Gary said, found by the sun focused on the roof. Lighting up the solar panels like the Augusta’s Orb. Terry, Jon and Dave wonder about the energy being developed and how the solar controller and powerlines wouldn’t be able to process it all. It has to go somewhere….
“C’mon you lot” Dot says. “We need to get inside.” Petels arrived and rams the door. We’re in.
There’s a hum. A low growling hum. Deborah recognises it. Dave does too. A deep sinister electric hum. Powerful. You can feel it though the floor, through your bones. Where else but from in the kitchen. Given away by the plasma glow. Floating out though the door like an ionic cloud, ebbing and flowing.
For the first time ever, Terry stops and thinks before jumping in. Dave tightend his muscles. Tanks really does, not the time for Movicol he thinks. George indicates something about not being the time for anything let alone something. Dot cusses
It’s the oven. The glass door is plasma slightly ajar and the gasses are surging to and fro. A vortex. An unfocused tube of free space you can see down through time and space.
Delicissorama.
George is in his own world, well not really, but cleaning, doing stuff but not cooking. Something is missing. His peers are cooking. The odd one out. I’m just naturally blonde he things and the others aren’t.
Harmonia and her friends approach. Sweet bravado like boys on a Friday night out. All with a plan to turn young George.
Teasingly, Harmonia explores conversation about cooking and how nice it would be to try. Confused he is. Yes, No. I like food. I like frozen meals but cooking is so much better, the conversation goes. At home, I don’t cook. That's our foundation. But George, your DNA is fractured. Blonde locks, huge farmers hands.
The vortex is surging. Unfocused light everywhere.
New Castle
Terry is going on about the panels and the sun. Dave is saying it’s over voltage and the power company is limiting the output. But the power has to go somewhere. The oven…. The vortex.
Tanks is ready to fire a shell into it. Looking for 100mm things, John and Faye give him a load of citrus. No says Petels. The citrus will explode and the plasma will cool. George will be lost in Delicissorama with Harmonia for ever. Terry is trying to measure things and explain.
Delicissorama.
George is walking toward it. The unfocused light. Harmonia is trying to drag him back. No George, the vortex is unfocused. You’re the king. Full of energy. You’re fractured DNA will save Delicissorama from gutten and heart disease. George goes, “I am King. King of Energy. My panels overload the system. Call me not George but King Energy. And I need my Jules. Where is my Queen Jules? My energy, my ruby?” “But you’re not. You’re a microwave man. We can make that King. King Energy. You can be our little energiser bunny.”
New Castle
It’s flaming. Unfocused plasma surging. Terry has some ideas. Dave is going nuts. Tanks is loading a motar tube to fire. Bernie has rocked up and is about to start cutting wires. Works for the ride on. Well actualy, nothing works after that. …. But before he does, Deborah casually flings in the glass lens. Slow motion like a frisbey flying though the air. About to be caught by a dog in pure flight. Like Bandit does. It lands and focuses the plasma. All the way to Delicissorama. A silence settles. George looks at Harmonia, the food, the vortex and steps into it.

Re: Good morning daily
Ummmm, is this the product of a test batch of those special cookies you plan to bake at Taggerty ...... trying to upstage me by winning back to back spoons? I think you are on a winner there Jon

Re: Good morning daily
Wow, I had to go back two pages to read the whole book series, outstanding Jon.
I'm now guessing it won't be cookies but a mushroom dish, cookies just won't fuel story telling of that calibre (thought I'd sneak a Tanks reference in there) from late afternoon through till sunrise the next day ......
No point anyone else cooking this yr at Taggerty, Jon has this recipe mastered and we will all be telling our own stories to anyone who didn't try Jon dish, possibly online

Re: Good morning daily
I reckon he found a bunch of gold tops at Smythedale and has hooked into the mushy soup.
Cheers

Morning folks.
And a great day was had yesterday
I sold the Winnabago it now has a home on the Sunshine Coast.
It was a hurried day I first had to get Carol to Maryborough for her "needling" appointment 200 hundred Ks round trip then back home to greet new buyers give them the run down on everything, and then get to the bank before 12.30, bank only opens from 9.30 to 12.30
we made it with 15 min to spare. Banks in Biggenden.
After that I done nothing of importance for the rest of the day.
Now on the lookout for a replacement motorhome
Keep safe
Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
Morning all congratulations Bernie you can relax for a bit now.
Looks like the book needs a thread of its own before it becomes the Never ending story.
Take care Robert
