Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Had a good day, saw physio, dropped into an op shop on the way home ;) Picked G man up out the front of home, took him to the 12volt shop to get an led bulb instead of the yellow halogen & they don't carry them, but I disappeared into the op shop next door  got a shirt for G and a top for me. Sold a book case tonight so another $50 for the fuel jar for the bus. Deborah re the drug prices, have you tried the Chemist warehouse? they are cheaper. Always get the original brand and NOT the substitute ones, I always tick the box on the script where it says NO substitute. As Bruce found out the hard way and with lots of digging the actual ingredients of the meds are the same it is the outer coating that is different and can be the thing that you may react to. Hope the weather is going to stay like it has been this past week because we can then escape to the block and not have to worry about the birds. Day home tomorrow then the city on Friday, G has his jab of Vit 12 on Monday, he won't let me give it to him :lol. Shower time now so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Jd and Nigel xx :D :D Goodnight Tanks x :D

Dot, I do wish we had a chemist warehouse close by. Nearest one is Gosford and that's not an easy trip. I do use them for internet shopping for vitamins and non script stuff, but we may encounter some along the way with our travels. If they happen to match the dates on the scripts, I will try to use them on the road. You had a productive day too xxxx

I took the documents back to gov office and now have my working with children check done and dusted for another five years. I have printed it out along with some newer price labels for my stall. Tomorrow they will be laminated. Not only does it keep the things looking neat, they stay looking good for a long time. I hated rising the prices for my my glass works, but time has come. I haven't risen the prices on many things since I started selling stuff, so it is well and truly time.

Washing done and ironed the happy pants that are going along with us. They only get an annual ironing. The careful laying them in the caravan cupboard keeps them looking good for a long time. The box of my personal glass jewellery collection gets put on top of them to keep them pressed. It weighs a ton.

All else is starting to look like we are getting prepared for departure.

night all xxx

Deborah please put a pic up of what you call your "happy pants" I am intrigued but especially that they don't need ironing. Are you able to get your scripts on the 6mthly thing? sorry forgot the name of it. Chemist warehouse I think do delivery on scripts, if they do get them sent to the town PO where you will be.?? Did a bit more cleaning inside the bus, have to put the food in after I take the extra stuff out that I put in for the 2 big NZ boys
visiting soon. Off to the oncologist tomorrow, hoping for some answers.. Took Brian out into the bus with me while I was tidying up and couldn't find him, looked under the front seats, in the wardrobe, but then I found him under the bed cloths fast asleep, the bed was lifted up but he made himself comfy.  Hope you enjoyed the rubbish truck today Tanks, I heard ours come and go. After the washing that was the most excitement for my day. I am heading off to the shower now so take care you lot . Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Robert not Bob x :D

Hi Dot glad it is all coming together, spent 6.5hours at St Andrews today doing stress test and at rest test on the heart. Dam stress full just doing them.

Could not have been to bad as they let me go, have a echo test on the 22nd and the heart specialist again on 27/4 for the results.

Wrong fridge being picked up tomorrow and expect the correct on by midweek. Will be good to go for a short trip

Take care all cheers Robert

Dot, happy pants, as in multicoloured patchwork cotton pants. They don't need ironing because I lay them flat on the shelf in the van with a large ton weight box of my personal glass jewellery sitting on top to get any creases out of them. Hope you get the right answers xxxx

Today was a chiropractor day, so no heavy lifting this afternoon.

I received a reply to a query about an even later in the year where artists and craftspeople can enter into a sales exhibition with the expectation that these will sell to people who come to buy Christmas gifts. Only people from rural or regional communities can send their wares and the group do all the marketing and selling. All I have to do is pay for a "space" and then they take a commission on sales. I learnt about the event from an interview done on Landline (ABC TV) and it seems like an interesting event. I will let you know what happens from here.

''tanks" here---No rain for Dysart BernieQ.

So, now its Friday in the 1st week of March and the exciting thing today is that I am waiting for the ambulance to come and take me to the Emerald Hospital Radiology for a lung CT Scan.
Emerald is around about 150km each way from Dysart which gives me 3 hours in the ambulance.
Going by the Queensland Ambulance Service (Q.A.S.) I miss out on getting a footlong (seafood minus the pickle) Subway, and having a chat with the Subway lady if the store is not busy. When I drive myself to Emerald I can sit in the Shopping Centre, have a coffee and watch the shoppers rushing past with their trolley full of the things that they don't need.
Have a great day folks.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Had a good day in town today well sort of. Saw the oncologist, had a string of questions, got answers and just to top it off he found a little thing near where I had a nasty removed some yrs ago right near my lower eye lid. Never bloody well ends hey? We are heading to the block either tomorrow or Sunday with more storable stuff so that will be my R&R for a few days. Washing to hang out so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Tanks x :D . Behave yourself (if you can)

Dot, hope those oncologist's answers were helpful. Him finding a spot is good. Means one less thing to take you out. Happy R&R weekend xxxx

Today we took a trip into Newcastle for his nibs to see an audiologist. This was a really interesting appointment and a lot of things were explained. His tinnitus is because he has been losing hearing and partly because of the bang to his head. They both add up to him being almost totally deaf in one ear. Hearing aid fitting was done and the expensive piece of kit will be ready for him when we return to the area in late April. He has promised to give it a fair trial and not be like so many who buy the aids and then refuse to use them. It was a pleasure to be in an environment where his needs were the most important and the professionalism of the place was really impressive. Not at all like the horrible ear specialist who has kept pushing hubby's appointment back. That appointment is for late May, not good when the first referral was written in last June. I will be waiting a long time before cancelling that appointment, just to keep them waiting a bit.

Around the travel to Newcastle, I have managed to sort all of my prescription drugs into daily packs to make sure that I have enough of everything for the couple of months that we will be away. We will be taking the prescriptions with us, but it is so much easier to be sure of having some of my very specific drugs that are often not available in the sticks.

Tomorrow will be the packing the van and the truck. Most of the business is sorted and ready to load, so it's just needing his muscles to get the job done. Clothes are also needed for a variety of seasons. I checked last night that Glen Innes is having beautiful warm days and freezing cold nights (down to 5 one night). It will be lovely to sleep with the doona on again.

sweet dreams out there xxx

Evening Deborah using hearing aids is one of the best things I have done, certainly helped me. Do need new ones but the cost is beyond me for now.

I have my tablets in the blister packs and if travelling my chemist will supply a few months in one go. Have a great trip Robert
