Deborah it passed through my mind, what you we’re doing in Urunga on your way to Glen Innes last night, Uralla sounds good
pleasant town to have a walk around, we use to stay on the river out of town in a reserve on the old highway, the old Cobb & Co crossing could still be seen in the shallow section, there was a pit toilet still on the site.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, have you sorted your emails yet? Weird way this interweb works. xxxx
Shirley, Uralla showground is $25 per night with power and water. We like to be spoilt with those luxuries.
Robert, it's a tiny little knob on the front of the fridge panel. His lordship has already found them online for our particular model fridge. Caravans plus has most of the strange little bits for sale, so the stress is no longer. Thanks for your interest.
Today was a sleep in and relax day. We visited a couple of op shops and came out with some reading matter and a weird little stand that may or may not find it's place on my stall. Time will tell.
Glenn Innes tomorrow.

Deborah, we use to always stay a couple of days at the CP in Uralla, it was the young lady that owned the CP that told us about the river reserve, she grew up in Uralla, it was always enjoyable to spend a few days alone on the river, peace & tranquility, the Showgrounds weren’t open for camping when we were still travelling.

Have been just blobbing around . Visiting friends and eating what I want (can)
Weather has been rain sun wind and shine but the air con works well Brian has been sleeping a lot Plovers have gone and no eggs left either. Tomorrow is a full day of op shopping around the area. Wow who has bought a house lately? Have a look at the sales tax on the property price amount extra you have to pay to the government. That has put a spanner in the works as we had our eyes on a new place. Not now.
Stay safe everyone get well all you sickies. Time for custard and banana . Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Bobr x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, at least you know what kind of shits the current neighbours really are. Move house only to have work out who's shit is who's in the new neighbourhood. xxxx
Today we had a gruelling drive
(2 hours including stops) to Glen Innes showground. Lovely spot, almost as quiet as the showy was at Uralla.
We had the obligatory stop at Guyra cake shop to get a pie for dinner and another for the freezer for Ron.
Chilled out this afternoon. Tomorrow, will be a long sleep in. Followed by a quick woolies shop and maybe a little bit of op shopping.
After lunch we will set up the stall for trading Friday to Sunday.
This travelling with my lair in tow is obviously low stress.

Dot the government wants us to down size for families but offer no concession as far as house tax goes only a pitance you can put in your super where they still charge you more tax. No stay put, better the crap you know then the one you do not.
Deborah good luck with the selling girl and take it easy cheers Robert

"tanks" here---
Still having rain in Dysart and more to come. I can listen to the pitter patter on the roof while I am going to sleep again.
Time to lock up the chooks Bernie. The lot is heading your way if not already there.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Dot, The gov should be renamed money grabbing filthy bastards. That would be at least truthful xxxx
Thanks Robert
With lovely raindrops on the roof, I hope you have a very long sleep Keith xx
As expected, we did a quick shop and returned for a sanga for lunch. Then the stall was up and displayed. All that is left to do in the morning is to get the covers off and a few more fiddly bits. Over all, happy with our teamwork today. His nibs did all the heavy lifting and I just fiddled along putting things out, where I wanted them to be, No stress.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Yes the extra fees and charges made getting that house impossible for us to get. Seeing as you don't pay that tax on a brand new house we might have to bite the bullet and build on the block but would do it to our plans. Might even look into selling our place ourselves. How do the imports buy houses already established?? Anyway off we went doing the op shop rounds, One place was everything 1/2 price but I did get an old yellow aluminum bowl and lid for $1. A big clear bowl I need for my 2nd attempt at a terrarium also $1 a scarf, and a few nick knacks, a summer dress, one of those handheld little sewing machine
and a pr of earrings Total cost $5 happy with that. Checked in the usual junk shop for a meat saw and bypassed all the shoe lasts
Going to head home tomorrow for the warm weekend and watch the Supercars. Go Gizzy. Have a safe weekend everyone and prosperous markets Deborah. Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Bernie x
