Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Morning all.
Yep we had nothing in the gauge for yesterday, just some light misty rain.
Got up to nothing yesterday, I did have a rellie go look at a motorhome near him that had some potential...but alas it only looked good in the pictures  So was a no sale.
Might have to mow later today if I get into the mood :D :D
And of cause its bacon and eggs day at our place ;) ;)
Enjoy your Sunday...keep safe.
Bernie.

"tanks" at Dysart here ---
The outside temp is 25c and who knows what is going on with the weather.
The sky indicates rain, the Emerald radar station indicates maybe showers, and when I look into the sky their is over 50% heavy cloud cover and a few patches of blue sky.
I have not ventured out back to check the ants.
Good morning all.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Good morning, 18c, 26c predicted today with 2-10mm rain, maybe a wet race in Newcastle, certainly looks like we might receive a shower or two.

Toukley is totally built out nowhere to build anymore houses unless one knocks down & rebuilds or renovates, it’s a nightmare in holiday time with the one road in & out over the bridge to the beaches, after Lake Haven shopping centre was built the commercial area became a ghost area with heaps of empty shops, slowly over the years some of them have reopened, it use to be the commercial centre with all the banks, Woolies, Coles, Jewels, Browns Hardware etc., don’t think there is even one bank left in Toukley, Coles is still there & an Aldi has been built on the Main Road at Noraville opposite the Toukley public school.

Been busy with the boys & their mates, as I say never a dull moment at our house, the eldest g’son & partner called in y’day too.
I didn’t bowl last week with temperatures in the thirties decided as I would have only been social bowling to stay home, I did have a roll up Friday evening.

Nothing planned for today but guess the lads will be fishing again, caught a bream & some whiting y’day, Nathan gave me a couple of fishing reels for grandpa to repair, need loosing up I was told. :D

Good morning everyone. The heavy rain event that the BoM predicted has turned out being a fizzer so far, for us anyway
Only 1mm in the gauge over the past 3 days. Its up to 85% humidity, I wish it would rain a bit and clear the air.
Went to the pub and watched a bit of the racing on the big screens, and had a cuppla beers. We are having ham and cheese croissants for brekky today, for a change.
Nothing much else to report. Safe travels everybody.

Edit, just checked the gauge 6mm now. It's been drizzling overnight, apparently.
Cheers

Good afternoon, we’ve had grey clouds & spasmodic sunshine but not a drop of rain, washing all dry & put away.
Nathan is out on my kayak fishing, tied to the back of Brad’s boat on the mooring, doesn’t appear to be catching anything, still heavy grey clouds maybe we’ll get some rain later this evening, one of the local lads is fishing off our jetty he has caught a couple of small whiting.

Still the Flinders emergency room waiting for a doctor to give me a-script for my foot then I can go home.

Staff here have been excellent from emergency reception, triage and the ward itself. Arrived just after midday and no ramping which was totally unexpected. Cheers Robert

They put a drip feed with two different antibiotics now they want the specialist to check me out and a plan to handle the infection.

Robert, I had wondered where you had gotten to. I hope that the medicos have you all sorted out by now, and you are home and on the mend.

Jon, I'm kinda glad that Nigel finally got his forecasts right. We had an absolute blinder of a late afternoon storm. Now over 25mm of rain in the gauge. Had some excitement with the lightning, I thought the power was going out. There were a couple of direct hits not far from here. Shook the foundations I reckon.
Cheers
