Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

It will be great for you to catch up with your mate Dot. xxxx

Shirley, hope you are enjoying your bowls days. That threatened wet hasn't happened yet, so fingers crossed for it to stay away.

The funeral was a long, whole day event. They even had communion. I really think that's a bit excessive. Anyway, when we go it will be in a cardboard box to the crematorium. No exotic, super polished, timber boxes with fancy brass handles for us thanks. It was lovely funeral all the same. The whole family were there and so easily recognisable as belonging to the family. They all have a similar look, so we played spot the Williams for most of the day.

Tomorrow we are off to Western Sydney for a weekend event. This festival last year, was during floods. The main bridge was closed and a lot of places were flooded out. Hoping to see better profits this year. If not we won't return to the festival, but here's hoping the customers do come and have some money to spend.

nighty night xxx

Bandit said, Goodnight Dot, apparently. He is on his bed in the m/h at Mulwala. I'm down in cold Kyneton, beautiful days, cool to cold evenings.
Cheers

I have just had a little nanna nap after a good day / night. First off physio, she is the lady with her ?? grand child that she has had for the past 11 yrs but as the girl became too dangerous for her to stay at home the child is under 24/7 care from AutismSA. Last week AJ got a call from the chills asking why her doors were open?? AJ raced around to find NO carer, turns out the carer had gone home, cut a long story short AJ has blown the people to the moon and back and they have lost the $660k(yr) contract. Memories of the Adelaide lady Anna Jane ?? that was left to die.. hmmmm. Then down theroad to meet up with an old work mate, she is dog sitting her daughters dogs while the family is in Bali. The house they are renting is a big beautiful old place that will be pulled down in 2 years and some monstrosity put up. $1100.00 pr week :o . The SIL is the big chief offier of the Canadian air force and head honcho of the air base here. Sues son died of a heart condition and a blood clot as a result of ICE and she is still coming to terms with that. Then what I had been waiting for was the call from my old school friend. As promised she rang and I found out why she cut me off yrs ago was she mis understood what I had told her about my son contesting his dads will, she thought I was doing that and she had just left work at Pentridge and her family had been through a bum fight with a will and she couldn't cope. Pentridge really stuffed her life. She has given up the booze but still can't kick the fags but for her to stop drinking is a thing I never thought I would live to see. . So we are back on track and we had many laughs of our naughty days in school. Only a couple of things I cant believe is she likes Trump and has reverted back to her Catholic faith but as I told her as long as we agree to disagree we will be just fine. Here is a story from her training days in Pentridge. Se was doing the rounds and she heard a voice say "It's only Merlo" as she came upon a cell the women were playing cards and all smoking, she said "Blimey anyone would think this was an opium den with all this smoke, go outside for some fresh air" Unbeknown to her they were all puffing on weed" she had never smelt it.  No wonder they said "it's only Merlo" She was on an ABC talk show and she will send me the link and from what she told me it should be good. I will put it up when I get it So I am happy with todays adventures. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bruce x :D Off to the block tomorrow .

Hi. Camped up at Wentworth on the river bank. Went up on the dirt through Lake Victoria from Renmark. Very rough and slow going. Hope to travel back to Renmark down the old mail road on the Victorian side. Could be interesting. Lovely night with a bottle of port and a camp fire ( and a loving wife ) Goodnight all.

Good onyu John & Faye, enjoy that peace and quiet. How have the roads been John? Brian said hi to Miss Evie x :D Did absolutely nothing today. Deborah must be making her fortune, strange she has been so quiet or she is knackered from the trip home. Well another oldie popped off the perch, Dame Edna has left the building, gave us some laughs over the years for sure. Never know when your time is up so get out there and enjoy. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Tanks x :D

Good progress Ray Joy and the girls but take care. Have the roads been reasonable? Gman got stuck into the front lounge room doing windows in and out, I did the fly screens and washed the curtains so tomorrow will see the carpets done and that is another room done and dusted and ready for "staging" as they call it. I did some more plant stuff outside and chased a cat or two from out the back. Reckon I will mow the grass tomorrow or maybe spray the weed and feed again before the ? expected rain. Watched the boys on bikes and some of the Mrs Brown and the Vicar of Dibley, can always get a laugh even after watching them several times over. Got the winter quilt out and hung it on the line ready to be put into use next week along with the electric blanket. Off to ed now so goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight WayneP x :D

Have fun preparing your bus for it's upcoming adventure Dot xxxx

Didn't have such long days at the Sydney event just stupid things that went wrong.
The caravan hadn't been fully unpacked from our long holiday, so we didn't do a lot to get it ready for another weekend away for "business" . Halfway along the freeway to Sydney, I realised that I had left the main business bag at home. We decided that it wasn't all that important, but we would need to find a way around getting some extra money to become our new float. That turned out much easier than expected. We found an atm in a servo that only dished out $20 notes. That was the start of our float. We had a quick trip to aldi to get a few things and we each asked the cashier for small notes in the change. She was only too happy to part with tens and fives. Saved her having to count so many notes. Turned out that we really did need all the change that we arranged too.

Next was to set up the laptop for some evening entertainment. Everything was in the bag, business folders, glasses, modem etc but no laptop. That explains why it's been a bit quiet around here. I have had to read books to fill up my late night entertainment.

The fair went really well. On Friday when we arrived for set up, half the car park has disappeared under demountable buildings or bunting for a building site and the whole place felt really horrible. My feelings were that we had already had enough things go wrong, so this had to work out ok.

We set up the tables and were pretty happy with the display. As this is an expensive event for us with the tables charged by the metre, we only have 5 metres of table space to work with. Quite a few things got left off the display this time. Saturday brought sunshine and a lot of people. They actually spent money with us. I had the table paid for , before lunch. The rest of the day was a small profit. Sunday was cold and light rain, so customers were sparce. We still made a few sales and our overall profits were enough to help us both smile a bit more.

Today was a quick journey to get home and now the van is back in the backyard, where it belongs, for a few weeks at least.

Enjoy Taggerty, you lot,
sweet dreams xxx
Deborah

I said Goodnight in the Good Morning thread Deborah, I was very tired. We did a quick trip to the block today with just the car but may go again this Friday with the suzuki and trailer. Tomorrow the bus gets a good inside clean, the Bushman freezer will be restocked along with the fridge freezer and my cheap booze Gossips sweet lips . Hoping to head off Monday morning, just doodling along singing a song and talking to my pussy. He is off to the vet tomorrow as his sneezing has increased and his eyes are a tad runny, better to be safe than sorry, costs nothing. My bombers put up a good fight at todays Anzac game but next year will be ours. Getting a bit tired already so I shall say Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Deborah x :D
