Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!
Productive op day Deborah , mainly for others though. Tomorrow heading into Birdwood to catch up with another friend and that is the op shop then early arvo I see my old GP and after that head for home. So much water laying around the area in the Barossa grapes may need it? Tennis is female grunters so the BOB is the go. 154 ks to go and heading into France from Spain. Hope everyone is keeping warm or cool and the sickies are getting better. Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Bruce x

OMG what a day, better than yesterday weather wise. Was woken up by our real estate agent friend asking if we wanted to sell the block as he had a buyer = not yet. Then off to the Birdwood op shop, $5 a bag full, got G man 2 nice jumpers, me I got 4 nice tops and a pair of shoes. Then my appointment with my old GP, spent 15 minutes putting her up to date with things since she left the clinic at Mt Barker and the rest sort of catching up. They don't bulk bill as we know it but their system of charging is not as much of a gap. G got the gist of it but I really don't care because I know I am getting the best of care with her. She actually told the receptionist that if I ever needed an appointment or to speak to her I must be put in contact with her. How's that for a caring Dr? Having my foot check up tomorrow to see if needs anything done since the jab in the fascia. Then we headed home before the rain and night fall. Got home @ 1630, got all the stuff out and did the washing etc and sat down for take away chinese at 1830hrs and am stuffed. Tennis has the girl grunters on so not watching that, will wait for the BOB's. Brian is back on his chair curled up on his sheep skin. Hope your glass turned out Deborah. Stay warm everyone . Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Peter & Sandra x

Dot, you have been a lot busier than I have mate. Great bargain shopping for you tho, well done. xxxx
The kiln has done wonders to my bit of glass. It's finally shiny and getting turned into a bowl as I type. As this is firing number 8, I am still being very cautious with it.
Today I took his lordship into Newcastle for his final hearing aide check up. The audiologist has made some fine tuning things that have really helped him with it, so it has been worth all the stress. He can still make changes with his ipad, but she has been able to do things with much more finesse than we can and her changes stay permanently, his only last until he turns it off at night. That was one long trip worth doing.
It's cold here tonight, so I'm off to a warmer place.
We got to a heady temp of 16 deg today and some drizzle this evening. OK Physio at noon, off to the foot and ankle man for review after foot jab, next step I can put up with the pain if it returns, have ONE more steroid, or have the new op where they do a keyhole into the fascia and snip the thick tendon to release it. In the meantime, he wants a bone scan of the legs as pain of shins returned, pitting of lower legs and feet and also pain when he hit the right areas. . BOB's are now in the Pyrénées, and they are steep and the mist is down. Your glass sounds promising Deborah, what about Shirley and her bowling skills? I'm getting squirmy watching the race from the camera on the motorbike. The amount of big pot holes around the place is unreal, even the new roadworks only 2 months old have had heaps of repairs already Some one said there is an app you can report pot holes ?? any one know? Dot, your legs are not sounding happy, is it mainly when we have really cold weather, rain or all the flamin time? xxxx
The kiln hates me OK? The bowl looked lovely and then I realised that it had slipped in the mold and was very lop sided and couldn't sit on a flat surface. It is back in the kiln, on a different bowl mold in the hope that it will compensate for the lop sidedness. I am not holding my breath.
The rest of the day was just trying to clear our some of the junk in the business crates. Today's job was to sort through all of the display boxes of pendants and cull quite a few of the excess ones. They will get re-purposed eventually.
There is still a lot of sorting through boxes to be done, so it may be tomorrow. Not promising anything at the moment.
Shirley is having more success on the greens than I am having in the kiln. At least today was sunny.
Keep trying Deborah. Gman had his dental work done today and is happy with the results. Has been cold and wet today My Yumbo Visma boy Wout van Aert on bike number 6 is going a great job but last nights winner of the stage 5 was Aussie boy Jai Hindley., now in the yellow jumper (leader of race)

As you can see I was in the yellow jersey in 2020, such a proud moment that was Re the leg pain, I think the pain has raised it head again is because I dropped some pain pills when I had the foot jab and it is now showing I needed them , that's why the bone scan. hmmm. They have been climbing a mountain 9% for over an hr and they are making me ever so tired so Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Darryl & Annette xx

Hope you get the leg pain sorted asap then Dot. You have had your share of rotten stuff. xxxx
It was freezing here with the wind having icicles in it. We declared it to be an inside day. The only time to open the door, was when he ran down to my shed to turn the kiln off. He didn't open the kiln door to look (been trained better than that), so I have NFI what the bowl did last night.
I did a lot of sorting through things in one of the business bags instead. This bag has all the essential things that are needed when I start to set out the business onto display tables and was in a huge mess. At the end of any festival we are usually so tired, that everything gets jammed into places and hoping the lids of crates etc will close. After a couple of hours of sorting, tossing and re-homing a fair bit of the stuff, this bag is now finished. Hooray. One major one done, now for the rest of them.
It is blowing a gale now and has been most of the day along with some rain. Found a Xmas pudding when cleaning out the pantry and it's expiry date is this month so guess what is for pudding tonight?? Have you adapted back into the cold Bruce? Bet you are a rocking and a rolling? Hopefully there are no trees down across the road to RnBobs tomorrow.. Time for the BOB's so I am off to the hot shower and then settle back to cheer my team on . Stay safe everyone x Goodnight Bobr x
