Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

RAIN...finally we had some rain...I will post the amount later when it's light.
Got up to bugga all yesterday, cleaned up some stuff in the shed, collected some wood for the fire, I keep it in the wheelbarrow near the front door. :D
It's still overcast outside, the BOM shows scuds still around but not many, and it's 18* or so the phone sez
Got word that a old mate passed away on the 27th of last month...sometimes word of mouth takes time.
Keep safe those on the road.
Bernie.
We had 24mm over the 48 hours.

Just waiting for a call back from the tyre place, was hoping to get new boots on the Winny today. Nothing else planned at the mo'.
Saw the last Indiana Jones movie yesty arvo. It's pretty good, if you have followed that franchise.
What's the roads like on your travels Bruce?
Safe travels everybody.

Another wet day travelling yesterday. Finished up calling it stumps in Cobar.
Bernie, not sure what your project is, but I recently posted our method of attaching solar to an RV roof here viewtopic.php?t=7942

Bernie.
We used rivnuts and 6mm stainless bolts and washers to attach the panel to the aluminium angle, that way the panel can be removed and refitted when ever needed. We found Tek screws were a one use install, the screw holes became worn and loose or lost their thread when tightening on even the second use, absolutely hopeless on a third attempt and aften the reason people lost their solar panels while travelling.
The metal threads also react with the solar panel thin aluminium frame resulting in thread binding and actually tearing the aluminium out around the tek screw. Aluminium rivnuts into the aluminium solar panel frame provide a much larger thread contact patch and the stainless bolts never seem to react with the aluminium. The other advantage, if one stuffs up ore gets cross threaded, they are easy to drill out and replace

Good morning.
Didn't do much yesterday still waiting for the ground to dry a bit, just some stuff in the shed.
Today I will remove the 4 brackets still on the roof of the bus...that's the plan anyway. :D
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Morning all.

Cold but sunny. Went to Taggerty yesterday to get some more wood. Lucas did all the carrying. I'm getting older and he's getting stronger. His reward; a lesson driving the tractor and learning the clutch. Growing up. Was one of those sights you keep for ever. A boy becoming an adult sitting proud behind a steering wheel.

Good morning everyone. Looks like the rain has moved on. It's bright and sunny here now. Didn't get the tyres done, some didn't turn up. Maybe next week.
I'm off to the GP today for some test results.
Well done to Lucas. How long before you get him on the chainsaw Jon?
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Dave,

was going to be yesterday after I put on a new chain. The old one is to loose. But the shop was closed... The tree we left is good wood.

Nigel reckons really cold weather, winds and storms from Adelaide to Sydney or so sticking to the coastal areas is coming. (plus into the Riverland) How does he know this stuff??
