Hi All back again
Been housesitting off an on for the past year or so.
Was recently on a remote cattle station in the Pilbara till my worn out knees disgraced me.
Back in Wagin licking my wounds and preparing for the next leg, heading to Qld towards the end of the year, to reconnect with affairs of the heart.
Get to the point???
A few years ago I purchased a wireless reversing camera set up for my Motorhome.
This is the brand I purchased, with mixed success, several camera's failing prematurely.

Now the monitor has died and I have no way of checking the function of my remaining 3 camera's ( they seem to be powered)
Basically I haven't been impressed with this expensive product. Although the monitor has 4 channels, handy as I run 3 camera's (wireless) & 1wired
My question is.....are other 2.4 GHz wireless products on the market compatible with each other?
or are they locked to each other by software etc.
Example of Fleabay product:https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/15297466228 ... JcQAvD_BwE
Cheers

Re: Reversing Camera/Display.
Dottie,
I don't think that helps Kappy's problem...
No experience with wireless cameras, as Girt & the Towed Hall came already wired with rear view cameras.
Only trouble I've had was the original curly cable connecting car & van Failed To Proceed. Electronics guru at local Jaycar found the cable had a break somewhere. And you can't buy it as a spare part — comes only with the full wiring harness.
Fortunately, when the MU-X was wired for towing a curly cable was supplied … so I had a spare.
Otherwise I think I'd have gone the wireless route to save a long argument with the supplier, which I would probably lose.
Consumer Affairs, anyone?
