I have logged onto my new account and uploaded some photos until this appeared:

Bit hard to read but it says

Disk quota exceeded.<br /.&nbsp;,br /. You have a space quota of 6000K, your files currently use 5840K, adding this file would make you exceed your quota

Other small issue is that when you upload a file or multiple files at one time, then want to select and upload another you have to go through all the same steps to loc ate the folder, it doesn't go back to where it uploaded from previously.

In will try to upload more into a different folder and see if that works

EDIT: Tried a new folder and same quota exceeded message

Yes at present it's just about as I've installed it. I can easily extend the size permitted for each person.
You can see the problem though if images aren't resized appropriately.
You have 14 photos for 5841kb which equals an average size of just under half a meg each.
The photo of your hitch is 549kb & I simply downloaded it, opened it in Paint Shop Pro & resaved it (did nothing else) & it is exactly the same size but is only 158kb now.
If you did that you'd get 38 photos instead of 14 in the same space.
Irfan view will do the same as will Handbrake.

If/when I install it properly we'll lose those photos Rob. (I'll save them for you & re-upload them once it's all go)

No need to save them, I have them all here still and I am just playing with the program I can make them a lot smaller but for this exercise went for a couple of different sizes.

Properly a good idea for those that post photos.
Normally these threads get filled by a few and normally I don't look at them so I am neutral as I would not use it but don't want to deny those who wish to to have athe faciltiy if it does not interfere with the basic forum.
I have nothing against photography as I am a keen photographer but I prefer not to show mine as they are for my use even though I have something like 15000 so far from my travels.

Boss Anything to do with photos gets me hooked. I love looking at others photos & sharing where we have travelled. We have gone to check out spots which previously would never have bothered going to see. I am just a very keen, amateur person who takes photos- have done since primary school with a box brownie so yes- please start the thread.
