Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. Its a rather fresh 5° up here in the Strathbogie Ranges. Doubt it will warm up much today.
Spent the arvo and most of the evening catching up with a mate.
Bob, I hope that you and Robyn can get well soon.
Bernie, I hope that you get your wish and it rains.
I'm heading over to Pipers Creek to visit the son and his family later this morn.
Happy hump day everybody, safe travels.

"tanks" here----
The most exciting activity over here in the West is my visit to the GP to have a WA Driver's License Medical examination, and also let her listen to my chest to see if the antibiotics are effective in c learing up the lung infection/flareup.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Good morning everyone.
Well it didn't rain here so I didn't get the day off
Rained everywhere else but.
I made a map holder for herself, she likes to keep the camps book close
That took a bit of the day...several mods to make it as she wants
After that it was just normal stuff around the house.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
I think I've finally sorted the last jobs on the "Bus from Hell" yesterday, problem turned out to be the result of the owner dropping a screwdriver across the light switch block terminal circuit board. Fortunately she had already bought a replacement, but when I fitted it, nothing worked rather than a few switches working .... a test lead showed each switch worked, then the owner produced a back with blade fuses in it, I'm sure this woman is trying to see how far my limit will stretch ...... worked fine with the fuses installed, so punishment was taking the old unit to use ..... somewhere ....
Next was getting the inverter too appear on the Victron color GX unit so it could be turned off remotely, turned out she had switched it off at the inverter ...... somehow .... just enough room to get the fingers between the inverter and the wall of the enclosure, no front on the inverter so a real taking your life in your hands reaching in there ..... once that was turned on and the GX reset, all worked fine
Then the fridge light didn't work ..... WTF ..... tested the voltage going to the LED light, 2vdc and it did turn on/off with the door switch .... not my problem, find a fridge mechanic to trace the circuit in the fridge ..... and that was the end of the jobs
Next was to try and get the EB Falcon going on petrol, turned out to be a dead fuel pump and a tank 3/4 full of water ....... no idea how that happened because it has a screw on cap ..... more strange happenings ... add to that, something had been added to the fuel that turned all the rubber bits into sort of uncured black silastic type of stuff, complete with the "stick to the fingers" but dried on the skin requiring removal with a razor blade ..... still 4 vehicles to get running so a fuel check might be the first step ....
No keys to the Jimny, they were in the vehicle key tray on Margaret's desk and that now has the mezzanine floor and roof sitting on the floor where it once was ..... hopefully with the vin number, we can get new keys with the door locking/alarm setting function from a dealership ... then just need papers from Ray so we can do a rego transfer, they were lost in the fire as well ....
